This thing for the price is absolutely perfect. So first I have it a 4 star on easy to install. Only because it's not for beginners. I am a mechanic. And a wiring expert. I didnt buy the adapter kit so I straight wired this with inline fuses. So as for that it did take me the better part of 4 to 5 hours. The device had a built in wiring diagram so once you get you power,switched, and ground you can power up the device and see the rest of the plugs. As stated with other reviews the amp control doesn't work. I didnt try. I have a high level input converter I already had hooked up to my amplifier in the trunk with a switched remote wire already ran. The camera and gps are pretty much self explanatory. Hook your power wires to your reverse lights. Then the red wire out of the camera to your hot side on your reverse light as well so 2 power and on ground on your reverse light side. Then the other end of the cam wire red. Needs to be hooked to the radio. I have a bluetooth obd2 adapter to integrate my gauges and obd systems into it. All works great. I'm also running ps4 control and emulators to play super Nintendo and such. I did install a after market launcher called car launcher pro which absolutley sets this stereo off. Makes it completely intuitive... the stock launcher is ok but is stuck in kmh. I was having issues supposedly with gps but installed waze amd gps test. My gps is accurate within 1 meter. The sound is decent it's no high end performance head unit. But gets the job done. Bluetooth calls and music from my phone all work awesome over the head unit. The possibilities are endless being a android tablet. I installed a 500 gb hard drive in my dash for music movie and app storage. The 1 gb 16 storage does decent with no lags if you keep old apps closed in the recent menu. If you can get it this is a good device for a standard user. but would also consider the 2 gb if your an android intensive user. Over all I will and would most definitely be buying from these guys. And these products again. Shipping was as quick as can be with the Corona virus going on. Customer service answered all the questions I had and very polite. great to deal with. I am a bit of a gadget junky. when the stereo in my 2003 Honda Element died I was looking for something to have some fun with. I decided to try out the Hikity 10.1 Inch Android Car Stereo. I am pretty blown away. comes with GPS module (offline maps on pre installed app work great!) the back up camera is practical and up to par, but where this thing really shines and you have to really think about this - This IS an android tablet that you are installing straight to your car. Everything you like to do on a decent tablet is a part of your car now...do you get it? I installed a Bluetooth OBDII on my car, installed an appropriate app onto the stereo and BOOM! on the fly code checking and clearing, as well as access to every other bit of info passing through my cars computer. The stock sound isn't the best - YOU CAN DOWNLOAD AND DYNAMIC EQ APP onto the stereo if you are around WIFI or can create a hotspot on your phone. stream HULU, NETFLIX, PRIME VIDEO on your dash. Check your facebook (while parked ofcourse) if you need to you crazy person. I work a lot from my car - having a second screen to look at an email while on the phone is great when I am in between driving. the possibilities are endless if you understand that is essentially a tablet that is built into your car. the hard drive space is reasonable. I was able to download 2 movies on Netflix incase I didn't have reception when I went camping. Want to customize the wallpaper or have your entire music library available offline? BOOM! 2 usb ports for music, pictures, video whatever! I am currently installing a Super Nintendo emulator onto it and have a bluetooth controller that works with it. this is the stuff I wanted when I started driving. Installation can be tricky - I actually have the unit mounted to my dash panel and not the original mount of my car. it was jut physically impossible to. it took a little modification but it is secure and looks seamless. the tapered bottom matches the taper of my dash panel so it looks like it belongs.It did not block any of my vents for HVAC controls. perfect fit. if you have an ELEMENT I highly recommend. looking forward to more adventures with this unit. I also used Metra 70-7863 Amplifier Retention Wire Harness and HTTX RCA Female Plug to AV Screw Terminal Audio/Video Connector to use stock amplifier. worked great. all available on Amazon. ... show more

I was extremely excited for this unit. The quality looked great out of the box and getting all wired in was pretty straight forward. Mounting it was fairly difficult but that highly dependent on your specific car. Sadly, once I actually started to use it, I was severely dissatisfied. It constantly disconnected from the Bluetooth to my phone (never had that issue with this phone before). The head unit is also extremely slow and glitchy. When trying to open any app (offline or online, doesn't matter), it takes forever to actually open the app. It is a solid +20 seconds to get the app going. Things like Spotify can barely run at all. Clicking "next song" or "pause" comes with a lengthy delay before the action actually goes into effect. Apps constantly crash and the interface that it comes with is horrible. Many of the settings are hard locked and can't be changed. There are also typos and Chinese language all throughout the device. Overall I'm severely disappointed with this unit. I would return it if I didn't already permanently alter parts of my dashboard to install it. My suggestion, don't buy this. Look around for something that can actually run a simple navigation app and music without crashing every 2 minutes. ... show more
