So I ordered the WYZE doorbell not realizing you need to have an already installed doorbell to connect it to. Luckily this little guy easily attaches and plugs in to any outlet (though I have mine leading indoors so no one can unplug it outside) and works like a charm. I couldn’t find any info on this so I’m posting what I had to do to get it to work with an Amazon thermostat. It would run my heater but not my AC for whatever reason. It’s been working a week as I’m writing this. One end goes into the C wire connection and the other goes into the Rc connection. It doesn’t matter which wire you use. Connect a jumper wire from R to Rc. (Note: my yellow wire happens to be blue and my white wire is dirty white and just looks tan in the photo) ... show more
