Power outages/surges experienced when hurricane Helene ripped through our area somehow fried our wine fridge, forcing shopping for a replacement. This unit seemed to fit all of our needs for storage and size constraints. It works fine, does the job nicely. We bought this beverage fridge to replace a Kitchen Aid wine cooler. It was exactly the size we needed, so we decided to order it. The product is cheaply made. The shelves are made of thin balsa wood and a few came to us already broken. The shelves do not function well. It was very difficult to install the handle; it did not fit properly and the screws provided were too short, so we ended up having to use a strong glue to hold the top of the handle in place. The unit IS NOT quiet when the compressor is on. The holidays are coming so we decided to keep it for now, or at least until it breaks or falls apart on its own. We just installed this wine cooler, and so far we are far from being impressed. There were supposed to be mounting feet for the front of the cabinet....MISSING! This left a knife-edge steel bar to rest directly on the wood kitchen floor. The screws provided to mount the door handle were too short by 3/4". We had to make a trip to ACE Hardware to try to find appropriate mounting screws. The unit has been running for an hour without a temperature drop. All things considered we would NOT purchase this wine cooler from Amazon again. We may end up returning the wine cooler if the cooling system does not start working. DR ... show more

I did research and read reviews so I was a little disappointed with this product. There is damage to multiple areas but it’s very minor so I’m ignoring that for now. The interior is where I have a problem. There are these rubberized “vents” that you have to rub the wooden shelves against to get them in and out. Well.. the lower one is broken. I was able to get the top one back in. The wooden shelves themselves seem flimsy and I worry about them holding weight over time. And while “adjustable”…once you take a shelf out there’s no place else to put it except to stack it in top on another one. I had to remove two shelves total for irregular sized bottles. There aren’t multiple configurations which lead to a lack of efficiency. It’s a cheap refrigerator for sure. It does make noise from time to time and I’m waiting to see if the temperature regulates, but for now the bottom one is about 5 degrees higher than I set it and the top is 10 degrees higher. It was plugged in for 4 hours empty before I measured the temperature. ... show more

This Wine Cooler looks and works great. Temperature controls are easy to adjust. Shelves are NOT Balsa wood as one reviewer complained. That said, the to shelf in lower zone can be removed to double stack bottles. With it in place, full bottles will not fit on it. (Maybe split bottles will—I don’t drink splits). I just had it for a few days but it is absolutely a best addition! Not really any installation needed. It is very quiet. Easy to adjust temperature. (and there is optional F/C! Very useful for science nerds 😻.) I will keep updating this review in the next few weeks. Update: Sept 30th, 2024 I have been putting lots of different drinks into the cooler, and everything has been going faster. This may be the other drawback so far: you need to start to worry about drinking too much. As a marathoner, after a hard workout, nothing is better than a bottle of chill beer or sparkling water. With adjustable temperature setting, it is even better: I don’t want it to be too cold that it wrecks my stomach; but I still like it cool enough to beat the heat from the run. I also put a table cloth and decos on top to make it look even better. Update: Oct 11th, 2024 The wood racks are easily removable to allow adjustment of space for your drinks. There is a light bulb inside the cooler. I have also been chilling fruits in the cooler, which is the secret sauce for more fruit consumption (and of course better health).
