Bought this as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend. She uses it as a basic mini fridge for storing beverages in the upstairs bedroom. It sits on a flat wooden surface, temp is set to 40°F, and it's used daily. It's now after Valentines day. The little fridge hasn't been adjusted or moved and its performance is unchanged since we first plugged it in. It has a small hum, not unlike other refrigerator units. Been looking for a mini fridge for the office and came across this one on Amazon. Even though it had high ratings, it seemed like they were almost 50/50 with people primarily saying it was too noisy, bad temperature control and drinks are warm. Well I am here to tell you that the styling of this mini fridge is awesome and looks very modern. As for drinks temperature....this fridge keeps them super cold! It advertises that the lowest temp is 40 degrees, but my drinks are way colder than that. So it gets an A+ on this. Only gripe....it has this constant swooshing noise that never goes away so I have to hear that all day while at the desk. Not sure what's causing it, but many people who have this fridge say it's common. It's not terribly annoying, but it would be nice if it went away. ... show more

After reading a lot of reviews on this mini fridge, I was very skeptical. However, there were some slight issues, but none of which were with the product. Amazon delivered my fridge upside down so the Freon took a lot longer to cool before I can plug it in. I waited approximately eight hours before plugging it in. The mini fridge is a little smaller than I anticipated it would be. However, the metal racks seem to be just fine. It seals with no issue and after testing it with two bottles of water from room temperature. They are ice cold. (Actually made ice crystals) The motor is incredibly quiet to the point where I can’t hear it. And you can turn off the light, so it doesn’t bother you at night. I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it. I have no issues that’s far but it has only been 24 hours but now I have ice cold water. (Yes literally ice cold) ... show more

Seller had great communication. Responded to my inquiry within 24 hours. Tracking number provided for FedEx. Package arrived undamaged. Very straight forward assembly. Tape was used to secure the shelfs inside and foam was used to protect the glass inside and out. It had quite a strong plastic smell when I opened the door. I was able to fix that by simply cleaning it with Windex, which you should be doing anyways. 6 hours after plugging it in, its chilling. I threw 5 bottles of water on top shelf, laying down, and 11 cans of soda on the 2nd shelf with room for probably 4 more, and room for 12 more soda cans on the bottom. Seems better suited for cans, but to each their own. Drinks are not super cold after a few hours, but as other reviews have stated it may take a full 24 hours to reach desired temp. (I will update if I find the temperature to be insufficient) The blue light inside is bright enough to see your drinks at night, but it wont light your room up. The design is sleek and modern. I purchased this for its design. Similar sized fridges without the same look are half of the price. Really hoping this lasts because I like the way it looks so far.     • Doesn’t Cool! Dangerously Hot in the outside!!
Dangerously HOT in the outside. It began heating fast, suddenly! While the inside NEVER cooled down below 65 degrees. Too heavy! Too noisy! Wrong description. Then… After 8 hours of being plugged in, it got extremely HOT in the outside! Returned the thing. Amazon customer service were fantastic! Refunded my money within 6 hours after dropping it off at a ups store. It’s a shame. P.S. I am adding on to my review because the seller left a deceiving answer to my comments. In my house it’s under 54 degrees at night. No higher than 68 in the day, during winter. It is Winter! It isn’t professional to insinuate that the reason the fridge felt too hot to touch was because it’s hot inside my house!?!? Who says that? I bought to keep my water cool, not room temperature. The Antarctic fridge NEVER got cooler than 65 degrees! That is room temperature. The drinks I keep in the garage on a table, are cooler than the ones I placed inside your little LEMON 🍋. I contacted customer service because the description was wrong. While I was on the phone talking about an issue with the fridge’s lock, the fridge began getting hot in the outside. First the left side only. After a couple of minutes the right side. Then the top began to get hot as well. All while the inside of it remained: at room temperature! Buy if you want to buy, You might be lucky enough to not get a lemon. One can not always make lemonade with a lemon. It’s a shame because the fridge looked nice. But not everything that shines is Gold. I ordered a Different brand. Pricey but great ratings. I’m sure it’ll be COOL! Thank you! ... show more

    • Exactly what I needed
This works just as expected, and looks really nice. It has plenty of room for bottles and cans, and keeps them cool, but not cold. I'd say it makes a little less noise than a kitchen refrigerator, so it might not be best for a room that has to be completely quiet, but it's perfect for my needs.

    • Fine for wine/soda - but not a mini fridge. Lowest temp is 40 and that isn't super cold.
I purchased this for my son for his room thinking that I was buying a Beverage Refrigerator that would keep his sports drinks and protein drinks cold. I loved the glass front. The temp range just goes to 40 and that really isn't cold enough for his taste for the sports drinks and refrigeration temp should be around 34 for dairy products. I just don't want anyone else to make the same mistake. This would be good for a wine cooler - it really is a COOLER and not a refrigerator. Also it is kinda noisy. ... show more
