It is appealing to the eyes, has a blue light to offer some ambiance Keeps your drinks cold, we don't use it for wine, but for soda/juice/water it still works great. Coldest temp is 40F which is plenty cold for drinks usually It's not very loud. We have ours in the living room area, if we are watching TV we cannot hear it run at all. My biggest complaint would be the quality of the shelves. One is glass, 2 are wire. The 2 wire shelves have a tendancy to sag under weight. I'm talking four 30oz bottles of water was too much I guess. So we are careful about what we put on those 2 shelves. Also, keep in mind, With a fridge this small when you open the door it lets almost ALL of the cold air out which requires it to work harder to get back to temp. If you are quick about it, it isn't too bad. But I have seen it go from 40F to 56F in less than 30 seconds while loading some drinks into it. So it is definitely more useful if you do not need to access it repeatedly all day long. But usually it is back to 40F in 15-20 minutes or so, it just uses more electricity that way. ... show more

Edited 3/19/24. I set the temperature to 41, then didn’t open it for a week. The wine was chilled to 42-43. Set to 43, the wine is 45. So the difficulty isn’t so much the refrigerator as the fact that it takes a long time to cool the interior. It works better than my review suggests. I have been using this for over two months, to be sure I passed through the initial quirks. Overall it is quite good, although I have a few small complaints. The first is the temperature, which is the main point of a refrigerator. It came set to 46, and cooled wine reliably to 49.6 °F. I lowered it to 44 and the wine temperature went up to 51.5. I set it to 48, which it claims is the best, and the wine temperature went up a bit more. I tried 46 again and the temperature didn't change. Now I have it at 44 and get a wine temperature of 50.5 °F. I was trying to get 48 but 50.5 isn't bad; one of these days I'll try lowering the temperature. It does hold the temperature reliably. The cooling system is not strong, so if you just fill the refrigerator with wine it will take ages to reach a steady temperature, during which time it will run frequently. (And while it does indeed keep below ~39 dB, my main refrigerator runs at about 25 dB of sound.) I added an RV refrigerator fan, and use it whenever I put in a lot of new wine; this significantly cuts the time it takes to reach a steady temperature. The statement is that it will hold 36 bottles. That assumes that you remove the glass shelves and stack the bottles (even the recessed bottom shelf is deep enough for a standard wine bottle lying down). Since I have separated the wine into three sections (wines for aging, wines my wife likes, and my wines) I have one layer of 8 bottles, one of 10, and the top layer of 12 (plus a couple bottles in the rack at the top that are among my favorites but not in the aging group). I'd say I could fit 27 this way. Since I rarely need more space than that, I'm satisfied. ... show more

When I plugged in the fridge for the first time it made an unbearably loud noise coming from the fan. It worked phenomenally, but the sound was driving me crazy. I tried every solution I could find like re-leveling, but no luck. Eventually, I reached out to their support (I should’ve done this first) and got everything squared away in a matter of a few days. I've been hesitant to buy a wine fridge for years because of bad reviews, including some on this one. I don't need multiple temp zones, just a fridge with constant temperature. Have had this for one week. No weird humming or whooshing noises others have mentioned. Wine is perfectly chilled at 57F. Will update if things go south. ... show more

After what feels like hours trying to configure this fridge, I am coming here defeated. It does not properly store 36 bottles of wine. No way, no how. I moved the shelves into dozens of configurations and ultimately landed on this (see photo). I removed the wire shelf, it is useless. The peg on the right side does not fit properly in the slot in the back, so the wire shelf never sits level and I tried flipping the wire shelf around but with any weight, it does not stay in the slots, it slips out. Also, I see another reviewer was able to fit bottles on the wire rack along the top shelf but when I tried with standard red wine bottles, the light mounted at the top center prevented bottles from going there. Also, the half shelf at the bottom is not flush with the shape of the fridge. There is a half inch or more level change from the piece in the back to the shelf. What this means is you cannot push the bottles all the way back without them slanting forward and feeling unstable. To combat this I shoved the little foam pieces that came on the wire rack, into the shelf slot but it is not a lasting solution. Another option might be to cut a pool noodle into a quarter piece and put it along the front for the bottles to rest on and not slip out, but really, we shouldn't have to do this. Anyhow, I managed 30 total bottles with 3 being smaller sized muscat bottles and at least 8 being champagne/sparkling that are perhaps bulkier. I could maybe fit another two at the bottom but would risk them rolling out when I opened the door. If you are just wanting to store food, canned beverages, etc. then I think this would be a wonderful buy. I am frustrated I cannot store wine in a functional way without shoving it in and hoping it does not fall out. ... show more
