  • Great machine
Great product for the money, puts out a lot of steam. So for I’ve cleaned all the grout in my home. Removed stains from the bathtub floor than would not clean before. I’ve steamed curtains, cleaned mirrors and shower glass. Now I use every other day to steam my tile floors. I bought a heavy duty mop sleeve from the grocery store and slipped it over the floor attachment, it’s a Little too long, but it works. It puts out a lot of steam. I have a steam vacuum, and it doesn’t do nearly the steam output that this one does. I love the versatility and great value. ... show more

  • Burn Hazard!
I have had this steamer for less than two months and while it works awesome. plenty of pressure and heat. However, after only 2 months of use the casing around the tube has melted off and exposed the inner water supply tubing. This is a major design flaw and burn hazard! I will update my review once customer support replaces the unit... but for now I would say, buyer be safe and beware! *** UPDATE *** I spoke with the companies customer support team and they sent me out a new one right away. These folks know how to take care of their customers! Wow.... Thank you so very much!! ... show more

  • NOT WORTH KEEPING
I have never had to write a review this negative before. I just can not keep this to myself when another buyer might purchase this steam cleaner unaware of the problems, especially a first time steam cleaner buyer. Don't let the psi of 65 sway your choice of steam cleaners. Although the Ivation steam cleaner had the highest psi of all those I had researched, other important factors negated what i thought was an incredible advantage. One factor is product design. If the design is unable to functionally capture the psi to its potential, it has lost its advantage. The ineffective tool design in the Ivation steam cleaner suffers from this as well. The "gun" shoots a broad spray of steam that drenches the area with steamy water. If you put the wimpy and easy-to-lose, easy-to-wear out or damage 1 1/2 nozzle on, you will probably think: Why is this feature not designed into the "gun" in the original design? The only thing that keeps this nozzle on the "gun" is an orange o-ring. You are supposed to put the one attachment that you plan to use on before you turn on the steam cleaner. You are not supposed to change attachments during use due to danger of getting burned. This has not been the case with the other two brands of steam cleaners I have previously owned. This is a result of poor product design, one that other steam cleaner makers have solved. one that is irritating during usage. This is a huge frustration for me. I generally need the ability to change attachments with any particular cleaning job or changing jobs in order to use the remaining water in the reservoir. The mop head is so out of proportion to the two attachment sticks, its almost comical. The adaptor for the mop head and the mop head itself are strangely sturdy in comparison to the attachment sticks. The mop head has huge bristles that don't seem to fit with home cleaning chores. I like the fact that the mop head does have clips that allow for the user to clamp on their own cleaning cloth. When I tried the mop attachment the mop head came off every time on the pull-back stroke. I kept trying to push the mop head on to the attaching part to no avail. It just would not stay on. The squeegee is very narrow and small when compared to all other squeegees I am familiar with. It felt like trying to do a cleaning job with a toy. It worked okay, except the too-short hose presented a lot of limitations to its usage. The hose on this steam cleaner is so short it interfered with my work flow. I found myself constantly trying to find ways to enable it to work. This is the opposite of what constitutes a productive and useful tool. The one attachment that I did like was the rotating brush. I didn't notice how effective it was because I used it inside a shower where everything was white. It's a bit noisy due to the rotating brushes driven by the steam. I did like using it. I did not receive the owner's manual in the original shipping box, even though it was listed as being in the box on the outside of the box. This steam cleaner has a temperature gauge with color zones by which to guide the user. Maximum heat is the red zone and when the arrow moves down to the yellow zone you need to wait for it to heat up again before proceeding. This is great except that it happens so often it slows the whole cleaning process down. I ended up with a lot of wasted time. I couldn't really walk away and do something else while I was waiting because it was an amount of time that was wasted but not long enough to do something else. I tried to work with the people who make this steam cleaner. I explained my position, but I felt it fell on deaf ears. Their written policy was to provide a refund if a customer was unsatisfied with the product. The associate I tried to work with told me that I would need to pick another product in exchange for the steam cleaner. I told her no, that I needed a different steam cleaner purchased with a refund. In the next email she sent she stated that I said that the steam cleaner was defective, (which is something I NEVER said) and proceeded to tell me that she had sent out a replacement to me. Now I am waiting for a replacement steam cleaner that I need to refuse to accept. I felt like I was living in the Twilight Zone of steam cleaners. ... show more

  • Cleans composite floors great
Very easy to set up and use. It has very useful attachments that allow you to do a lot of jobs. I was disappointed that it did not remove the soap scale from the shower. It is not an industrial strength steam cleaner but an excellent home steamer.

  • See results in one use!
It packs a solid strong surge of steam! I was not expecting it to be so powerful even though that was the hope! I forgot to take a pic of the chair before spraying with my favorite stain remover Shout, those are the famous Cool-Aid stains and ashtray droppings we all know btw, and then proceeded to steam the ottoman. So here you see a pic after spraying it, after steaming and after it fully dried. I would recommend this unit, it is light weight easy to use. It took a little longer than 7 minutes to fully heat up and build to pressure, but it is worth the wait!!! Please excuse the mess around the chair, as I’m sure you all can understand the reason for buying one of these! ... show more

  • Worked great...until it didn't
Bought this in March of 2020. We got concerned about COVID19 around the house and also got tired of trying to clean around the kitchen with various cleaners, sponges, soaps, etc. This thing is amazing and most important for me, it is sort of fun to use. It shoots out a jet of hot steam. Note that from a distance, the heat dissipates quickly and does not harm you. But up close, it is hot as heck and WILL burn you. We use it on our BBQ, in the shower, toilet, sinks and it even kills bugs and I recently used it to kill weeds. It also will fluff-up flattened carpet and give it new life. Lots of uses. Totally felt it worth the money. But 4 years later, the unit is trash. The pressure chamber and heating work fine, but the hose will not keep in pressure and steam dangerously comes out of both ends (where it connects to the unit and the hose gun. Got too hot and dangerous to hold. Was cleaning my car interior with it after a long hiatus of not using it. Worked for 30 minutes but then that was it. On the durability scale, I give it a very poor rating. Should have bought the warranty. To be clear, we did not use this product frequently. Probably 4-5 times per year. Stored indoors and not abused. But maybe that is the lifespan of these products. ... show more

  • Powerful Steamer
Powerful steam cleaner. It would be nice if the steam hose were a little larger. Wonderful attachments. Easy to use.

  • This is my first steamer I am satisfied
With this being my first steamer I have nothing to compare it to a contrast it too. However I feel like I got my moneys worth. Very hot also it is very easy to use. The only thing that I hate about this is that you don’t have a see-through glass that allows you to see how close the water tank is to being empty. You don’t want to put too much into it it’s not good asThe manual states however you won’t know how close you are to empty either by looking at it ... show more
