This worked really well to house my newborn kittens. Be aware that by about 4 weeks kittens will be able to escape this if the top is not installed. Seems flimsy, but worked well. Was a little difficult to assemble. Great value!

I purchased this item to make a “wall” around the litter boxes as one of my guys occasionally stands up as he pees. This looks much neater than pee pads taped to the walls. It was easy to put together and very stable even though I chose not to use the included zip ties since the cats do not push or bump the panels. Not using the ties also makes it easier to move everything when I sweep and clean the floor. 12 panels were enough to surround 2 separate, large litter boxes areas on 3 sides. Had to buy two (24pc./20pc.) to make it large enough for two bunnies. So far they like their new home. A little difficult to put together and a little flimsy without the zip ties but overall a great buy for the price.

Would be okay for a small animal. My bunny is a mini lop and we used this to section off an area for him. If we attempted to use this as an enclosure he couldn’t get out of, he definitely would. I clean the hair out and they still are dusty hairy gross looking. I wouldn’t buy again. My step daughter has super curly hair and I thought these would help but wasn’t easier than a regular brush.

Got this because the storage tub I had my 3 week old foster kittens in was quickly becoming not enough to contain them. I had two escapees from the storage tub the same morning this was delivered! The concept of the product is really fantastic, and offers a lot of assembly possibilities. Assembly itself? Well that’s a whole OTHER thing. You get a wooden mallet, which makes you feel a wee bit like one of Santa’s elves in a Christmas claymation special. The instructions tell you simply to “gently tap” the connectors with the hammer to secure the fence piece. LIES. The connectors have to “snap” onto the frame. Something that can only be accomplished by brute force, some foul language required. My first attempt was to “gently tap” the connectors on the frame while it was upside down, and then flip it. NOPE! The whole thing folded like a house of cards. What ACTUALLY works is assembling it right side up, with the connectors on the ground, and forcing the frame into each side of the connector. Listen for the “snap”, as that’s how you’ll know the darn thing will actually STAY together. Note- it needs to snap over AND down. Meaning it has to be flush with the center side of the connector channel AND the bottom. After 40 or 50 attempts, you’ll get a feel for it. Once it’s together, it’s actually pretty darn sturdy. My own cats are fairly curious who these interlopers taking up Mom’s time are, and they’re able to lean up on the frame with no stability issue. Even my giant orange chonk! All things considered, this is a fantastic solution if you’re getting new kittens, or especially if you foster. I paired it with a waterproof high chair mat underneath, and it seems like this will definitely be a great investment. They’ll move to the kitty condo once their heads are big enough to not fit through the bars, but for this stage of their development, we have a winner! ... show more
