When extended amazingly wonderful was able to host thanksgiving dinner for 9. But when trying to just use it for our family of 4. You loose table space from the legs. So the sitting area will only accommodate 14inch space try and find any stool or chair that narrow is impossible. Need one extra piece about 6 inch leaf to realistically use it for a family of 4. It's a nice table. You can definitely tell where they cut corners to achieve the $300 price but I had my expectations set. It is particle board however it joins together nicely. I assembled it alone and it wasn't hard to do at all. It's great for my specific use as my old dinning table got used 5 times a year and takes up too much space in my open floor plan. This will do great to save us space and allow us to host when needed! I would recommend buying some metal dowels for the panels. The other issue is the brackets that hold the extra panels didn't align, so I'd recommend having a power drill on hand to fix that. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This table is perfect for my family. It was well worth the money we spent. We were going to order a transformer table from the actual website but, we really didn’t want to spend $1800 plus. Thank you Amazon for this dupe we love it!!!!

I have a town house that has limited dining space and this type of table is the answer for when you want to host your family or friends for dinner. It extends out for the extra space you need and then collapses back into a small sized table to save space. My table came with some damage but the company was very helpful with the way they handle this situation and I was grateful with the way they corrected the problem. ... show more
