This remote car hits it out of the park! You can see a lot of photos of what it looks like after it's put together on the reviews, but I thought it would be helpful to show photos of what it looks like when it arrives. Take notice, it comes in two boxes and they might come separately so don't panic! You will see one box has the 4 wheels and axles, and the other box has the body of the car, mostly assembled so don't be overwhelmed, thinking it might be difficult to put together, but it's not! It is so cute when it starts up, it revs the engine and there is music built in and I love the remote control. It keeps the kids under control because the steering can be a little tough if the driver is too young/little. But no worries, the remote control has a good range. It has strong power and the battery life is better than I thought it would be. All in all, it's a GREAT value for the amount of fun we've had with it and I'll report back on its staying power. But so far, it's two thumbs up!! You won't be sorry with this purchase! ... show more

Bought this for our one and a half year old and within a week of driving her around in it the steering broke. Thankfully, my husband is very mechanically inclined and fixed it. Very disappointing. Video to assemble helps more than “instructions”. Finally got it put together and it won’t turn left almost at all. I have to return it to get replacement and it is already assembled and my son’s birthday is in two days. Not ideal at all. This is why shopping online sucks. Update, vendor sent me a new body for the jeep at no charge but still has same steering issue. Sent them a picture of the front "axle/steering" which appears to be slightly bent on one side. I believe this is causing the steering issue, got no response. Do yourself a favor, if you purchase this and it isn't right from start just return for a refund. I liked that both boxes arrived on the same day. Assembly was a little confusing when putting together. The pictures helped a lot more than the directions. To assemble- it took about 30-45 mins. The 24 volt is the way to go!!!

This jeeps front axle snapped from the welding points after one week of light use by a 30 lb boy. We have purchased a similar 12 volt truck from same company that did well, this one failed very quickly. The assembly instructions are very difficult to follow and seems to be for a different truck and some parts seem to be missing. One star, would not recommend and would not buy again. Also bought extra 2 year warranty, they say to contact seller, seller says that it is over 30 days and can’t be returned. Will see if warranty by Asurion covers the replacement. ... show more
