I tried about 5 different ways to keep my phone within eyesight for ubering, all failed but this one! The others had the adhesive didn't hold and would fall over from the weight of my phone, or the magnet was too weak and bounced my phone off at the first bump, or the suction cup failed and fell onto the floor. Works amazing I like to use these the semi trucks at my work place they do not have phone mounts and I slip seat on about 4 different units so I would rather pay $10.00 for a phone mount than $1000 for a ticket for holding phone in hand, amazing mount sticks great and comes with a few plates to choose from for the back of your phone case, I have a UAG case and it works great, however one thing to note for people if you have and use the mag charging it don’t work with case on if it has magnet you will need to remove case to charge your phone via mag safe devices just a heads up, ... show more

First, this item is almost awesome! Super strong magnets so no worries about your phone slipping off. Two downsides I have found. First, the range of movement isn't as good as others I've had that have a much bigger steel ball and socket. This one just barely swings enough to meet my needs. If you don't need a lot of range, then this one rocks. Second, the ball and socket slip too much. I fixed this with superglue at the connection, but only because I don't need mine to move. If you want that flexibility, maybe look at the bigger ball and sockets. ... show more
