I needed an additional car battery charger and the housing of my current one came apart (can glue it back together) so having a second one as backup was welcome. This charger comes with 2 connection options and a well written manual is included. Cons: * The only minor complaint is that when it's powered off and back on, you have to select 6V or 12V before the charger starts charging (it starts in idle mode). So if you use some sort of remote control to cut and restore AC power to the unit, then it won't start charging again until you select the voltage. Pros: * Comes with the regular car battery charger clamps that are also used for jumper cables, except much smaller as it only needs to carry 2A. They are pretty sturdy. * Also comes with ring terminals which is great for screw terminals. * The manual is well-written. On page 6 and 7 it shows all you need to know about the operation and LED status lights. * Indicator light if the polarity is wrong. * Indicator light for overvoltage, for instance if 6V is selected for a 12V battery. * Cable from the unit to the clamp is long enough so the charger unit can be placed behind the garage door and still reach the battery if you park the car within a couple of feet from the garage door (might need to be closer for a large truck). ... show more

    • Great size
The biggest thing I like about these trickle chargers is their size. Small enough I can throw in the pack on my motorcycle and toss the other in a cubby hole in the car in case I need it. Only nitpick is the three error lights on the front are pretty vague as to what they do so you have to look them up and hope next year you don't forget when you don't have the instructions anymore. They're obvious after you read about them but not really before that ... show more

Kit includes 2 separate charger units, eyelet cables, and clamp cables with SAE connections. The chargers are nice since they can charge both 12-volt and 6-volt batteries. Ample length power cord and sealed design make these a great combo value.
