Purchased recently for cold weather camping trip, tent camping where temps expected at 40F overnight. Worked well and ran it overnight for 3 nights and kept tent cozy. The cooking top works, kinda, picture is after 20 mins of sitting on top, not exactly a rolling boil, but hot enough for coffee etc. easy assembly 1 hose to connect, built in igniter worked every time and did test the tip over turn off and worked as advertised. The heater will hook up to the big propane tanks, like you use for an outdoor grille. And I used this heater for 30 hours and still had some in the tank. Overall satisfied. Could see it being useful in a garage or shed, or if power goes out over the winter.

Unlike some others that probably made user mistakes, (read the literature). The heater/stove, lights easily, is very temperature adjustable, very well made. On a 40° F, night, in my walled easy-up the temperature is very comfortable. This is a much better ( & less exspensive ), product than a heat buddy. The fact that you have a heater & stove in one compact unit is excellent.

So far I just tried it out just to see how it worked. It seems stable on the ground, fires right up and puts out a lot of heat. What I really like about it is the safety functions and with an adaptor you can run it on a 1lb. propane bottle.

Used this 13,000 BTU propane heater in our giant camping tent, and let me tell you — it turned the wilderness into the Ritz. While everyone else was out there pretending hypothermia builds character, I was in a T-shirt, sipping cocoa, and questioning if I’d accidentally invented glamping. Heats fast, stays steady, and makes you feel like a genius with survival instincts. Sure, I had one fleeting “is this safe?” thought — but then my toes thawed and I forgot all about it. By morning, we were basically rotisserie campers. Would absolutely recommend. Bring s’mores, not frostbite.

The heater works OK overall. Heat output is good out the top but doesn’t radiate well around the sides. Using the damper on top has minimal effect. The pilot light doesn’t reach the main burner so there is always a “boom” when enough LP saturation is reached to start the main burner. There have been a couple times Carbon monoxide built up in the room. Max reading of 39ppm registered on my detector.

Pretty easy to set up and we used it a bit to burn off any oils or such. Had about 1/3 of a tank of propane left so we just figured we'd let it burn till the tank was empty. It was set outside and still running a few hrs later when we remembered it. The tank weight hadn't changed much. It did go out when tipped over (we did it on purpose). But easy to restart once upright. A nice addition to the house for any emergencies or camping.

Will be a good emergency heater. Not sure if I believe the output is 13k BTUs but will work for my needs. Control knob is wonky and not accurate to label on the unit. Output feels similar to a smaller propane Buddy heater I have for ice fishing. Cooktop is a nice feature.
