My old clips broke during cleaning because the plastic had fatigued from age. Measure the inside of the old clip to get the right size. Place the new clip on the headrail of the blinds BEFORE you attach the valance. I used a flat head screwdriver to pry open the curved part of the clip that attaches to the headrail. These look tough, thicker and stronger than original ones, but too hard to fit. You may need to unscrew blind top to adjust position against wall if it is too far inside. It may not position the valance vertically if it doesn't rest against wall - unlike original clips. Too bad original ones are fragile and don't last. ... show more

I purchased these clips to replace the original clips that broke easily when I removed the blinds for a window replacement job. These clips and wider and sturdier than the originals.
