  • Impressive!
Size: FUPA #12 Ceramic Twin Pack
I never bought into the hype. I saw several people using who I respect and decided to give it a try. Since I am welding aircraft frame tubing I was hoping for something that would allow me to run the tungsten out further to get better coverage in the clusters. I was truly impressed. Works far better than expected! Since I’m running the gas up to 35cfh welding .035 4130 tubing its a little more of a gas hog but worth it. I only wish it came with more screens and the insertion tool to install them. If you decide to give it a try I hope you have as good of results as I did. ... show more

  • Fantastic Improvement for TIG Weld Quality
Size: Jazzy #10 Ceramic Twin Pack
Well; I finally sprung for this addition to my already installed Stubby Defuser kit. As many users say; this makes a "World of Difference" for my TIG welds. I was able to turn back my Argon from 20 to 16 so that is another advantage for my fixed income topic. This addition makes it So Easy to see and create such a nice weld, compared to the normal gas cups. I will have no second thoghts for anotheer of this when needed. I would suggest you try it-then Love it. ... show more

  • Great tig cups for good gas coverage
Size: Jazzy #10 Ceramic Twin Pack
Great tig cups for wider coverage they screw right on and give good gas coverage the tungsten can stay out a bit further so when you are in a tight spot or want to hold it perpendicular to the surface you can see what you are doing. Ive only been tig welding for three weeks at home and if i can do it you can as well. This was 121 amps tungsten 3/32 and filler 1/16th ... show more

  • Using proper cup types and size makes all the difference
Size: FUPA #12 Pyrex Twin Pack w/ Ti Cover
As a hobby welder, I often play with setting, controlled arc height, different types and sizes of tungstens, and of course different types of metal and thicknesses. Recently, I had purchased a size #16 alumina cup and started an art project on stainless. The gas coverage allowed me to control my temps and get the colors that I wanted easily. The only drawback was views were obstructed. So, after seeing the Furic Pyrex cups being used with views afford by looking through the cup, I knew I had to have one. Upon receiving my new Furic Pyrex cups (#12, #14 and #16), I immediately started to the TIG table and throwing down beautiful beads on a piece of stainless. Wow, what a difference it made to be able to see my work in progress through the cups. I tried out all three sizes and found my neck not near as tired due to not having to lean over as much,. The price is a bit high, but if you can swing the cost, it is worth the expense. Would I recommend to my friends? Yes, in a heat beat. Will I by more of the Furic product line? Yes, I will complete my set as the year goes by. Bottom line, if you want a great way to get the gas coverage you need to lay down some beautiful beads that you need to see through the cups you use, I would definitely recommend this product. ... show more

  • Genuine, and a game changer
Size: Jazzy #10 Ceramic Twin Pack
Being new to the TIG process, I have seen so many videos that speak highly of Furick cups. I have no where near mastered the TIG process, but these cups are making the task far easier. Having only spent a couple of months TIG welding, I had reached the point where my welds were not embarrassing to show others. I certainly won't say that they look like some of the stuff you see on the internet. What I can say is that a simple change of cups (and the CFH, amperage, etc that accompanies this size cup) has almost instantly improved the appearance of my welds. Some will say that in many cases a large TIG cup (these are #10) is a waste of shielding gas, and perhaps they are, but for a hobby welder, gas consumption isn't much of a priority. All said, these are totally worth the price. They are my "Go to" cup now. Believe the hype. They work. ... show more

  • THIS IS NOT A KIT
Size: #9 & #20 Torch Kit
Havent gotten to use the gas lens yet as i am waiting for the torch to come in, but i am a bit disappointed. Under size it reads "#9 and #20 kit" this makes me believe there is more than just a gas lense. So i look in the questions and although it was 2 years ago, one of the top questions has an answer from the seller that says "this uses and includes a 3/32 collet." Mine came and it was just a gas lens, no collet. I am not too distraught since i only paid 9 bucks for this. I am disappointed however that the name and reviews lead you to believe one thing only to find out its not true and made me have to wait longer for more parts now. The visual quality of this lens looks to be there. There are 8 holes in the collet under the screen part where my chinese POS lenses only have 4. I just hope this is a genuine ck or one of high quality like furick puts out cause i have had issues with other "chinese" gas lenses not providing proper coverage. ... show more
