100% wool and the fit is great. I wore it in a light rain and the rain beads up and rolls off. The wool is heavy weight but the hat is light on your head. Looks great as it did in the ad. The size of the hat is a little to large for me but sizing tape was included but not quite enough however I think the quality is excellent and the sizing will probably solve the fit issue.
