All dinnerware is sturdy (and a bit heavy in weight), but worth it. The set is so nice, we keep it visible at all times rather than stow it away in some cabinet where it would remain unseen. Taking out of box I was definitely I was definitely impressed with the quality and the vibrant dark blue. I ran them through the dishwasher and when they came out, some were a little scratched. Not noticeable unless you show them in direct lightning. Not a huge issue but it did concern me on what would happen using metal silverware. Surprisingly they have held up very well with the silverware. I would highly recommend this set. The bowls with ice cream become cold, which didn't really happen with my other bowls. I like the size and the color. However, they scratch very easily. After the first use the plates have scratch marks from knives. I would not recommend them for this reason.

I’ve used these all for the past few days and they are gorgeous. They look so good with everything else in my kitchen and I’m planning to get more in other colors. They’re durable and sturdy. They’re not easy to scratch and microwave safe so far. An amazing amount for the price you pay.

Bought the red and black set. 30% arrived with damage, others have paint imperfections. 3 large plates have scratches, 1 small plate has scratches, the glaze on the inside of one bowl has bubbles and holes. There is black paint on the red on some dishes and there are edges that have no paint so the porcelain shows through. I could have gotten this quality at the dollar store. Very disappointed. Will be returning and buying something else (not from this brand). ... show more
