This review is for the Pereysi 1500W Portable Electric Heater. The product includes the heater as well as a set of use & care instructions. Setup requires only plugging the unit into a standard 120V power outlet and selecting the desired mode. Controls consist of a fan/heat/oscillation selector switch and a temperature/thermostat knob located on top of the unit. The selector switch has seven available selections: OFF, Fan (no oscillation), Heat 1 (no oscillation), Heat 2 (no oscillation), Fan (with oscillation), Heat 1 (with oscillation), and Heat 2 (with oscillation). The thermostat knob allows you to select the desired temperature level. When the heater determines that the preset temperature has been reached, the unit turns off and remains off until the temperature falls below the selected level. Note: the thermostat knob is analog and does not have any specific temperature settings on it. In operation, I found the thermostat knob to work well. The heater maintained the desired temperature in a small room within an acceptable tolerance. At about the time I began to feel cold again, the unit would turn on and begin heating the room. There were just a few minor things that I think could be better on this heater: First, the fan output seems a bit lower than I would like. I suspect the manufacturer made the choice of keeping the fan speed low in an effort to reduce the overall noise of the unit. In operation, the heater isn't silent, but it's not overly loud either, so this was probably considered to be an acceptable compromise. At a distance of approximately 3 feet, I measured the noise level of this heater to be 43 dB, just slightly louder than the average library or a park. Also, the fan speed is fixed regardless of mode selection. Second, the tip-over detector consists of a pressure-activated switch on the bottom of the unit. On the positive side, it immediately deactivates the heater if the unit is tipped even a couple of degrees off vertical. As soon as the unit is returned to vertical (and the switch is pressed), the unit returns to normal operation; there's no need to reset the unit by turning it off and back on. However, I did find in my testing that the tip-over pressure switch works best on a firm surface, such as a hard floor. If you're using this unit on a softer surface, such as carpet, you may find that the pressure switch isn't being pressed in sufficiently to reactivate the unit. I found that pushing down on the top of the unit would usually fix the problem. Overall, this is a decent, yet basic, heater that works well in smaller spaces. It's also relatively quiet and should be acceptable even in places where noise might be a concern. ... show more

I like the 2 sided options on the controls for just air or heat both stationary and oscillating. I don't feel like the heat output is sufficient though. Seems like it is a little lacking. Sufficient for a smaller area but anything standard room size, I don't think it is powerful enough.

This is a nice heater, it works well and can rotate or be stationary. It's taller than I was expecting. It puts out good heat, it's just a little expensive compared to others hence the 4 instead of 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. This little heater has all of the basic functions that I was looking for in a heater. First of all, it has a safety feature built into it that automatically shuts it off should it get tipped over…a very important feature for me. This indeed works effectively, as it gets triggered by a button-like feature on the bottom of the unit. Second, it also has an internal overheat protection. I have not yet been able to test this feature out, but am content that it is available. Besides these important safety aspects, the operation is very easy, with a dial gauge on the left to control the level of heat dispersed. The unit just conveniently temporarily pauses relative to this thermostat control. The oscillation option is also nice to have. It can be set for either 900 or 1500 watts. I wish it also had an option for 600 watts….but nevertheless, this is a handy heater to have around the house. ... show more

We got the first chance to try out this heater when temperatures dropped to the low 40’s and we didn’t want to turn on the central heat yet. It heated up very quickly and the temperature in our living room warmed quite fast. I like that the settings are really straightforward, no fancy buttons or apps, just turning knobs to the setting that you want. It has an anti tip feature on the bottom, along with non slip pads on the feet of heater. Our living room is partially open, with doors on each end, in which we had open while running the heater and it worked very well. It was quite compared to some other heaters we have as well. We try to just warm rooms we are in for most of the day to cut costs of heating the entire house, and this heater will be a good one for our needs, as we won’t have to run it as long considering how well it heated and the oscillation feature along with the fan blowing the heat ensures the heat get circulated quickly and efficiently. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was waiting for a cool morning to try out this heater 1500 Watt space heater. Today was the day and in the short term, straight out of the box it works great. Follow the setup and plugged in directly to an outlet (no extension cords or power strips) It seems to be well put together, the exterior construction is mostly plastic with the exception of the metal grill that covers the heating element. Operates quietly and quickly broke the chill in my medium sized bed room this morning. The touch controls on the heater's control work well but it's nice they stepped up and added a full function remote control. The remote does need a good line of sight, uses a traditional push button design, and is a nice upgrade at this price point. The heater is very light weight, easy enough to move around as needed. It can also be knocked over but it does have a good working tip over protection switch that immediately cuts power to the unit if it were knocked over. This is a pretty basic space heater but it works well and would do a good job beating back the chill in a medium sized room. Granted results may vary, extreme cold and a poorly insulated space or garage might be asking alot of a unit this size. ... show more
