This is a no-frills portable mini heater that will get your room surprisingly warm and quickly! Let's be clear, this is not a fancy device with LED lights, digital readings, advanced temperature controls, a fancy design, a remote control, a rotation spin or anything that would make this a "luxury heater". This is cheap, it's small and it works. For what I needed at the time, this is all I cared about. Actually I wanted something as small and portable as possible and on that front, this is the smallest device that I found on Amazon while not compromising functionality or performance. So if you want something compact, this definately will please you. There is a wheel control on the left that seems to be a timer "maybe" ? I'm not sure about the usage of that so I just leave it crank all the way up, all the time (this could have been factored better in their design as I don't see a point to it). On the left are your 4 temperature controls. 1) Fan : (Does not heat up the ceramic plates) so all you get is wind. Not that great as a fan... maybe good to dry your nail polish, but not to keep you cool in the summer. 2) Heat 1 : Low heat, still pretty warm to me and will do a good job if you want to lower electricity bills. 3) Heat 2 : High heat, that's warm and is what I typically always use. Especially to kick start the warmth into the room. 4) Eco mode Heat : Should be called Heat 1.5 because that's really what it is. Don't be fooled by marketing that it saves 30% energy or 20% or whatever... it's just less hot than Heat 2 and more hot than Heat 1 so yeah.. it will consume energy accordingly. It's a good setting to leave on in the long run. There is also a very useful (slightly annoying) tip-preventing feature that will stop the device if it is not layed flat on a horizontal surface. This is basically just a button that you "could" tape down I guess if you don't like the safety feature, but I'm glad it's there to prevent house fires. So there you have it. A tiny unpretentious heater that will get the job done and will rival bigger units. For a cheap price, this is great for a dorm room, bedroom, spare room, etc. ... show more

Bought a few of these because a few rooms in our house stay a bit cooler in the winter so needed something small and convenient. The heat that these little guys put off shocked us, they worked so well and we were surprised. I like the safety feature on the bottom, so if they are knocked over, fall or picked up they will turn off and to not burn anything or cause a fire. There is multiple settings of heat so you can find the perfect temp for your area. I have bought more since as gifts because they were so great, definitely recommend, and for the price you can't beat it. ... show more

We have medium size rooms about 200 ft.² which get really cold at night this warms up the room in about 5 to 8 minutes and keeps them warm. We like how it has a safety switch in case it tips over slighly it will turn itself off, as well as the thermostat causes the heater to turn off once the room is warm enough. Small heater that only works on the lowest setting. When using the highest setting it immediately shuts off and you get stuck in a cool down mode for about 15 minutes in order to reset it which is frustrating. The heat the lowest setting puts out is fair enough that I didn't wish to return it and I was able to use it throughout the winter without too much difficulty. This heater has been fantastic in our 25' RV. It helps keep the chill off and isn't as loud as the onboard heater. If tipped, even slightly, it turns off - good safety feature. Definitely recommend!

I bought this portable heater for one issue. The place I live in is a little bit large. I didn’t feel that it was smart enough to put on the heat for the whole house when I wasn’t even using the whole house.I was watching TV in my living room and yes, it gets a little chilly at night where I live. This served my purpose. I couldn’t believe it when I plugged it in and it took all the chill out of the room. I just received the portable electric space heater and I am very pleased with the condition and heat output. I couldn't ask for better condition than this. First of all, the heater arrived at my door when it was supposed to (which you hope is always the case, right?). I found it easy to set up and get started. The first thing I noticed was how small the heating unit was. This isn't a bad thing. My last portable heater took up more space than I needed. This is where the heat output is important to me. The size of the heater can make you mistake it for a weak product. This heater blows an inferno of heat at me for such a small package. For example, my office is basically a standard 10x12 room. Within 15 minutes of testing the output, the room is a sweat box (on the highest setting). It gets coldest at night, and this is when I need the heater most of all. My prior portable was getting clogged with dust and dander from pets and daily usage. The heat output was reduced severely for this reason. This meant that at night, I had to constantly adjust the temperature higher than normal to increase the output. This eventually led to the heater having constant issues with the internal heating coil. I'm glad I found this new one online and placed the order. I would probably suggest this product to anyone looking for an affordable way to quickly heat a room. ... show more
