We were looking for an entry level weight bench that could do most free weight exercises for my 16 year old son who is trying to get in shape. This bench was easy to put together, folds to a somewhat smaller footprint, and give him the ability (with the purchase of some weights) to do all the lifting he wanted to do and more. I worry a little bit about the strength of the attachment points of the metal to the cushioned components, but at this price point this bench seems to offer the most bang for your buck. ... show more

Love the bench. Easy to assemble. Only thing is make sure you check length of bar, it needs to be 7ft for 1 inch bar; 6 foot bar too small.

Purchased this weight bench and expected a top quality product from all the positive reviews. Sorry to say that isn't the case. It is of the quality of the cheapest products on Amazon. It is poorly designed and the fit and finish is terrible. The worst thing was that it came with the wrong manual. The first thing we checked was the parts list. It didn't match, we had more of some items and less of others. We spent hours trying to make sense of the installation manual. We had to assumed that we were sent the wrong product or the wrong list. We then decided to go online to see if they offered an updated manual. No luck. Finally we found several images that showed some of detail that was not obvious to us. It took the whole day, but we were finally able to assemble the bench. It seems to be ok, but I am not sure, as we ended up with many extra bolts, washers and nuts. ... show more

My husband purchased this for our son. It’s a very nice bench. The instructions were all wrong. Also the manufacturer packed two right chest fly handles. They were labled (r) and (L) but what should have been left matched the right exactly. He had to use a unibit drill to drill holes for the grip bar. Made in China. ... show more

Easy to put together. This is a very versatile set. Easy to adjust the backrest and horizontal bar. Love that you can work out legs and arms. It doesn't take up that much space either.
