  • This is a rugged tarp that is just the size I needed!
I needed a tarp to put up over a 10'x10' canopy I've just purchased so that I can speak briefly with clients who are dropping off instruments for me to repair without letting them into my house during this covid19 crisis. The canopy by itself isn't strong enough to survive the winter, but the frame is certainly strong enough. Thus the need for a tarp to put up over the canopy. For some reason all the local hardware stores only have rectangular tarps once we get up to the size tarp I wanted (15'x15') so I looked online. I am not disappointed -- this tarp is heavy-weight, just like the page at Amazon says, it is well constructed and it has grommets spaced very nicely for securing it. I bought 6' bungee cords and I put this tarp up over the canopy. There's enough length/width so that there is a overlap of about a foot where the tarp folds into the middle of the canopy. The bungee cords have secured the opposite sides to each other very nicely. We've already had some very high winds and this tarp has held firm, doing exactly what I had wanted it to do. Excellent! ... show more

  • Fantastic Tarp
I use a lot of tarps for wood piles boats and outdoor equipment. These are the only tarps I could find that actually are tough and durable. In fact they are almost to tough. If you think you can just fold these up in a ball like a cheap big box tarp think again. They are thick and rigid. I have a set of these covering two boats outside in Northern Minnesota. It was -37 F a few days ago. They are in direct sunlight subjected to hot summers and brutal cold winters. The tarps are going on their second year with no sign of wear. You can’t go wrong with this tarp. ... show more

  • Overall it did what I needed it to
I used this over a pop up tent for my dogs kennel for extra protection. We had a huge unexpected snow Strom over night this winter and I didn't have a chance to prepare and the snow crushed the pop up tent, but because of this tarp it saved my dogs enclosure along with the heat lamps. I'm very impressed with that I expected to have to replace it due to the damage the snow did. I see a few pin holes and such and it rained this weekend and even with the holes my dogs enclosure is still pretty dry. For the price it's alright. Overall I'm pretty impressed with this tarp. ... show more

  • Good replacement for the torn canopy on our swing set
When the bright rainbow-colored canopy on our swing set tore in several places, I decided to look for a less-expensive alternative than ordering a replacement from the manufacturer (which can run a couple hundred bucks). I ended up settling on this tarp, due to the thickness and good reviews. The area to cover was 15' x 5', so I had to fold it over a couple of times in one direction. Then I wrapped it around the boards that the old canopy snapped on to, but I attached this one using a staple gun right along the reinforced seam with the grommets. It's been a couple months now and it's holding up great. Even through some violent, windy storms this summer, no tears or damage. Plus it's roughly the color of the rest of the swing set (since it's brown) so it doesn't look like we have a circus in our back yard anymore. I'll definitely get another one of these, if I ever have another use for one this size. UPDATE 03/11/2019: Nearly 5 years later, it finally tore in several places after a few really windy days. It made it through some pretty nasty storms over the years, and held up great. Bought another one... still have spent less than half what the brightly colored one from the mfr would've cost. ... show more

  • Heavy Duty Tarp!
This heavy duty tarp lasted 3 years of full sun in SC. Through storms and winds, it held steadfast and waterproof. So when my first was done, I immediately bought another. Any tarp can survive a season. But 3? Well worth the money!

  • This tarp is great. I have used it for the last year ...
This tarp is great. I have used it for the last year to protect an addition to our house, and it has not leaked at all. We live in new hampshire, and we bought a foreclosed home. There was an unfinished addition that we needed to cover up but didn't have funds to complete yet, so we used this tarp. So far, (1 year in) it has performed admirably, withstanding direct sun, rain puddling, snow 2 ft deep, ice, occasional foot traffic, and shoveling of said snow. The room underneath the tarp has remained bone dry. I have essentially used this tarp as shingles- it is fully supported from underneath. I have noticed some shrinking, as it has pulled tight against the screws I installed through the grommets to hold it in place. This hasn't affected it's waterproofness at all. This is a good tarp and is able to keep water from penetrating in my experience. ... show more

  • Highly recommend!!!
Fits perfectly over our trampoline. Summers in AZ can really damage a trampoline so we keep it covered as much as possible during the hottest parts of summer, as well as the monsoon season. We have tried other tarps in the past, but never found one the right size (we always had to overlap two smaller ones). And, we have never found a tarp, no matter how "heavy duty" they claimed to be, that could last through one of our summers. They were usually in shred after a few months. This tarp has lasted well through the summer and does not show any signs of deterioration at all!!! So impressed! Would definitely recommend for anyone who truly needs a protective tarp under harsh conditions! ... show more

  • Great sturdy tarp
We cover our screenhouse with a tarp since the original material has gotten weather worn. We have used gorilla tape to patch the tears but use this tarp to keep the top covered. So far it has worked well. We were buying those cheap tarps that just wore out and shredded but this one is thick and sturdy and should last for a good while. We are very pleased with the quality and color. We got the brown as our screenhouse material is a tan color so it matches well. Good quality. Highly recommens. ... show more
