This laptop was purchased to use at my psychotherapy practice. I was pleasantly surprised to find MS word, Excel, Powerpoint and Adobe Acrobat PDF already loaded and the shortcuts on the screen. All I had to do was set up the WiFi password and start using it within 1 minute. The mouse works perfectly and is a nice bonus. The mouse pad is also a nice touch. The color is a very pretty rose gold and it makes the laptop look like a high end one. I found the speed of opening and closing apps/ programs and navigating the internet to be excellent. The screen quality if beautiful for watching videos and movies. The keyboard feels solid and it's easy to type on the keys even with long nails like mine. I am not a gamer so I can not make recommendations re: if this laptop is good for gaming. I already read the other reviews so I knew the speakers were not very powerful, but I just needed a lightweight laptop with light up keys to work quietly at night while kids sleep. The speakers are a bit tinny and quiet, but the laptop works excellently with Bluetooth headphones (or AUX). It comes with a bonus mouse, mousepad, and a cute little kawaii magnet bookmark which was a nice touch. The charger looks nonstandard for what I’m used to (very short cord), but make sure you’re plugging into the small round port on the left side of the laptop, not the AUX port on the right side. There will be a small indicator light if you plugged it into the power port properly! The laptop is lightweight, and the screen is super big for the size of the laptop because it has very little in the way or frame or bevel. I powered it up with no issues, and Windows is already all set. Ran a few updates and tried out a YT video on highest resolution (Halazia by Ateez) and was blown away by the resolution and screen image quality. It’s beautiful really. I’m gonna switch to using this laptop to stream video (with headphones) because the video quality is so clear and crisp and bright. The purple outer is all smooth, comes wrapped in clingy protective film (which I’ll leave on until my BTS stickers arrive), and it’s pretty light. I would not treat this item as if it were a rugged built chassis IMO—it’s very lightweight plastic (I already bought a protective case…color matches to F¡ntie purple or lavender laptop case). That’s all I’ve got for now, but I’ll update if anything changes my opinion of this device as I continue to use it! Thx for reading if you got this far. ... show more

Bought this for my son since he loves gaming and coding. He has been enjoying it with no issues, great battery time and visuals. Keyboard led light is beautiful and you get a free wireless mouse with your order and it works great. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend 👌 👍

This laptop is wonderful it's beautiful huge screen great clarity everything works as it should I am so happy. I also bought a cooling fan to put under it because my last laptop the battery burned out. Fortunately I know the keyboard very well so I don't need to use the Black cover so it makes it look so beautiful and the keys light up when you touch them and it's just beautiful. I haven't had any issues at all I'm still playing with the lights and learning other things about it but I checked out Microsoft Office works great Windows not in any issues at all and I'm very very happy that I ordered this. I had it in my cart for a month because I couldn't afford it and then I was finally able to order it. ... show more

I was wondering over as well! like many may be! I am at the point perhaps where I am not convinced name brands mean longevity or even best functionality! So why not give this a shot it's packed with LOTS of memory! It's an unusual color! keyboard backlighting lighting changes colors, is festive enough; what the oh well?! Well even when I discovered that it has virtually NO microphone and the volume is nearly as non-existent I was STILL trying find justification to NOT send this lavender lovely BACK for my refund! I tried everything I could think of to adjust restart troubleshoot the built-in mic but after the laptop ITSELF ran it's mic trouble shoot program a few times and declared with a pop up that the mic is NOT functioning! I knew the END was near! I bought the laptop mainly to record YouTube vids! This is simply NOT possible if there is absolutely NO SOUND being picked up! Honestly if you look and examine the laptop you may not even be convinced there actually IS ANY mic built in at all! SO sadly & reluctantly I reasoned with myself she HAS TO BE returned! I DO have the last ditch idea that maybe I should give it another try & basically buy an exact replacement but Amazon doesn't have a replacement option for this item & suggests to just retirn the product wait for the refund (which doesn't come quickly) and just but the darn thing AGAIN! I have a feeling that by the time I am faced with purchasing again the love affair may be over on my part! Having zero patience I ALREADY bought the "replacement" laptop an ice blue 14" DELL Inspirion which has all the bells & whistles I could possibly want except a lavender color! It has a camera privacy slide cover - Rumtuck didn't! 16 gig of RAM as opposed to the 12 of the Rumtuck, it converts to a tablet - Rumtuck doesn't! It has a touch screen Rumtuck doesn't, fingerprint unlock option Rumtuck DOES have this feature to be fair! What kinda told me fate was involved was the color Dell uses to describe this beautiful ice blue laptop is LAVENEDER BLUE!!! So Dell even offered me a little connection to my first loved the lavender Rumtuck... how sweet! So again by the time I get my refund will I even want to spend another five hundred (to be fair I wanted the 1 terabyte option of the Dell as opposed to the 528 gig of hard drive SO that pumped her up from $549 to about $649 I roughly recall! So yeah will I even want to pay again for this lovely looking Rumtuck? WWYD? ... show more
