    • Good for those tight neck muscles
Many years ago I subleased the front of my office space to a medical massage professional. As I worked 100 hour weeks back then sitting at a computer the massage therapist let me borrow this tool they had that she called a "bonger" from what I remember. It was this springy device with a rigid but rubbery ball on the end. She showed me how you could beat on your back muscles just below the neck and it really helped when my neck would get stiff. I always regretted not getting one of my own back then. I was just telling my wife about it the other day because she was complaining about neck paid sitting at the desk and I told her this story. Low and behold a few days later this pops up on Amazon so I grabbed it to see if it was close to the same. It is a little different but can be used in the same manner. I have fibromyalgia, spine issues, and nerve issues. I'm always looking for anything that will help me. I had never seen anything quite like these massage tools before. I'm so glad I grabbed them up! I love these. At first I was rubbing it up and down my spine, across the glutes, and down my legs. That felt good. I also used it by placing it between my back and a wall for myofascial release of a chronically tight place on my back. It feels really good. This object is both firm and soft so it worked great. Next I tried tapping it as shown on their little video. Wow! That is actually really effective for me and so relaxing. I was surprised that it felt that good because I'm so sensitive. These are really well made, and they are just beautiful too. They are filled with Mugwort. I love the smell, it's nice and fresh too. These massaging "hammers" are easy to use.....I don't really know that there is a right or wrong way to use these. They are a little firmer or hit harder than I anticipated, but after some trial and error I did find some relief from a repeated light hammering pattern. These are not toys and mine did arrive with one of the handles being a little bent. The listed price is reasonable. These are great for personal use but would also make a great gift. ... show more

You can tap at your own intensity level where needed. After tapping or hammering, feel so relaxed. And, with the aromatic herbs built in refreshed and relaxed at the same time. Like rolling in a field of peppermint, but no peppermint smell. (No peppermint involved, actually). Since there are two, my husband can be using one for himself and I can be using one at the same time for our various spots that need hammering out. They are very sturdily made and quite easy to use. You can also use two at a time on yourself or another. I'm really impressed by these. I'd seen them before and passed, but I finally decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did. I love massage and really, who doesn't? But sometimes you need something deeper and more durable. This spares using the flat edge of your hand. And they're so easy to use! I find them useful after a long walk to try on some aching muscles and I was impressed with them. They felt great and while I have a sensitivity to overwhelming scents whatever is in this didn't bother me. They're long enough to extend your reach of you're working on yourself and they're great for using on another.
