Razor Pocket Mod works but no proper way to charge. After doing a lot of research, there is no actual charger to charge these batteries after they are wired together in series. You’ll have to charge one battery at a time for a proper charge. Some stock 24v dc chargers such as the original razor charger caaan charge 2 wired in series but it’s different chemistry in a lifepo4 lithium iron phosphate than the stock lead acid battery and can charge but possibly hinder the lifespan or damage the batteries. Now these are definitely the safest batteries for a kids toy and will last the longest by far, but they are realistically the most expensive/confusing and difficult to properly use and charge You’ll either have to figure out a switch board system to charge one battery at a time or take them out/ disconnect them and charge one at a time, buy an expensive charger that still probably doesn’t have a proper algorithm into the BMS to charge these specific batteries. Spend $300 and build a proper charger for how ever many batteries you have wired in series 24-48v(2-4) batteries. All the chargers for less than $80 are meant to charge one battery at 12v… Also these batteries like to be kept around 85-90% and run to about 20% Over charging and running out will damage the batteries, but would need to be thrown in a fire to actually catch fire. Super safe! Lead acid batteries love to be over charged and can be run to pretty much dead as long as you get them back on the charger asap. Lithium ion batteries can catch fire extremely easy if wired wrong, undervolted, overpowered, hit or bumped just right, can burn a hole through 5 story building floors till it lands on the cement basement parking lot floor. need to be very well protected, but cheap and easy to charge/ usually come with a charger.. Might return these and buy lithium ion just cause it’s got a charger tho lol ... show more

    • Powering a solar powered driveway gate!

I installed two of these batteries in a control cabinet for a driveway gate. The gate is pretty far from the house and I didn't want to run power to it, so solar was the only way to go. These batteries have worked perfectly for the job. Running them in series gave me the 24v needed to operate the gate controller. I have them charging with two, 12v, 25W panels, which are also run in series to the charge controller. This setup has kept the system charged around 26-27v without any problems. Winters here can drop down to -20F but typically only drop to the single digits. I understand that LiFePO4 batteries do better in cold temps than lead-acid chemistry batteries, so I'm hopeful these will continue to operate in the winter. ... show more

Soooo disappointed after ditching the Lead Acid Battery for my sons 12V Power Wheels (4wheeler style) BECAUSE the Lead Acid never lasted more than 2dys of use. .I get an Ion Battery. .this was the 2nd actually (the 1st one came USED & DIDNT CHARGE. . you know typical AMAZON💩) So went w this brand & not only does it take a whole overnight to charge (even tho it's supposed to take 3-6hrs🙄😒) IT DOES NOT LAST LONGER THAN A FEW DAYS -- SAME AS THE LEAD ACID BATTERY I HAD BEFORE. .most likely it's these 💩 ASIAN COMPANIES DOMINATING THE AMAZON MARKET WITH 💩 QUALITY PRODUCTS. .I'm done using Amazon as 8/10 of every thing I order is a waste of $$ & it many cases causes MORE PROBLEMS (Like the lamp that caught FIRE after 2mos of use🤦🏼♀️) ... show more

This GoldenMate 12V 10Ah LiFePO4 is awesome! Lithium battery is the way to go for all my UPS grades now. Is lighter, holds more charge, and best of all not worry about keeping lead acid battery above 50% charged. Battery came from factory 100% charged. UPS status shows estimated power 130 minutes with the following connected to UPS battery+surge outlets: - CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD UPS - ATT ONT - ATT BGW210 internet gateway - Cisco SG500-28P switch powering two Ruckus APs (R650 and R510) If those numbers are accurate, I could have over 2 hours of Internet service while power is out. ... show more
