  • Amazing kayak!
This kayak is worth the money! It's pedal drive system is smooth, light waight, and heavy duty solid metal. The yak is definitely heavy and would recommend getting a yak cart to be able to move it around. This yak can hold a ton of gear, I'm a solid 290lbs and it hold me and my cooler and gear with ease and no issues. I have stood up on it but I don't feel stable probably due to me size and weight. But if your a lighter person you'd probably be able to with ease. Only flaw is that the seat on the rails is kinda of a pain to move back and forth to gain access to the center dry storage area but maybe some wd40 would make it easier. But that's the only flaw I would have on it. Trust me it's a lot of fun being able to pedal around and fish with out having a paddle sit in your lap or deal with fish pulling you all into trees and not being able to paddle back with the pedals makes it a breeze and have more time fishing. ... show more

  • AWESOME KAYAK 👌
Okay let's start by saying I believe the reviews on here are from people that may not have understood what they were getting This kayak is great I use it in the james river I have had it out in flood waters Cat fishing I have pulled up 50 pound catfish with This kayak Overall I am very happy with it. It did not come with a vessel origin manufacturer paperwork but upon request it was Shipped very quickly to me I honestly can't think of one thing to complain about. The price point on this is probably the best. You're gonna get 4 a kayak of this magnitude. I have thought about getting a second one I can't stress enough how pleased I am with this thing I was honestly on the fence about buying it because of the reviews that it had. But I am glad I did I will have pictures and videos posted up soon. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for
Pros: it's inexpensive for a pedal drive yak, the hull construction seems solid. There is a recessed transducer mount. Cons: other than the hull and pedals, everything else is shoddily constructed. I've had it on the water about 10 times in the 18 months I've owned it. The anti-slip pads fell off the first time I transported it. The screws in one of the rod holders came out the second time I had it out. The seat, the shelf that wraps around the pedal drive, and the rudder assembly are cheaply designed. It's very hard to get access inside the front of the boat, so mounting an anchor trolley was a major pain. There is no good place to run the transducer wires. If this is a yak you only use sparingly (like me), it is a way to get you on the water at a low price point. You will want to shore up the screws with bolts (if accessible). Seat will probably need to be upgraded also. If you hit the water a lot, invest in a higher-end fishing kayak. ... show more
