  • Forever tires!
Color: Silver Gray
Nothing like having a set of tires that never go flat....

  • No lost air
Color: Yellow
O turn front tires are a recurring problem, these should help. Zero turn front tires are not as important as they are on a steering wheel type mower, so these should be fine.

  • these wheels are too large for a Toro 42 inch ZTR
Color: Silver Gray
They were advertised as a direct replacement for a Toro ZTR. These wheels raise the front of the mower about an inch higher than the Toro original wheels thus the front of the blades is approximately than the rear. The blades are supposed to be parallel with the ground.

  • probably the last set of tires you will need
Color: Yellow
I have a 42” ZTM that was built by MTD and sold under several different brand names. It originally came with treaded pneumatic front tires, that I had to replace when I got a gash in one of the sidewalls. The replacement tires were “slicks” and I found that they made the steering far more responsive, but they were still pneumatic. This spring, I have needed to add air several times to one of the tires that must have an incredibly slow leak, so when I got the opportunity to review these solid polyurethane flat free tires, I jumped at the chance. Swapping the front tires on this type of mower is dirt simple if you have most any kind of jack and a set of wrenches. The tire set comes with a variety of spacers to allow you to properly position the tire in the yoke and this tire should mount on most any mower that uses the same size tire and axle. The pneumatic tires were inflated to 30 PSI, which made them fairly hard, and I have not been able to tell much difference in the ride quality so far, but my fear of hitting something that might damage the tire is greatly reduced. Even with the proper tools, dismounting and mounting small tires on rims is a nasty job and it is well worth the extra bucks to buy the mounted tires on rims. With solid tires, that is not a choice, but you should compare the cost only with mounted pneumatic tires and keep in mind the likelihood that, unlike the pneumatic tires, they will never need to be replaced, when making a decision about buying replacements. I almost forgot to mention that these wheels come with pre-lubricated sealed flanged ball bearings and not the sleeve bearing that come with OE wheels that require lubrication. These wheels still have Zerk fittings, but they are not needed or used. They come with the 3/4” bearings mounted, but include complete sets of bearings to accommodate 1/2” and 5/8” shafts as well. These bearings allow the wheels to spin far more freely, but may not survive really rough treatment as well as the old sleeve bearings. Since these bearings are so cheap (<$1.50/each) and easy to replace, this should not be a consideration. ... show more

  • Good Value
Color: Yellow
I'm rating the ONPOW 11x4.00-5 Flat Free Lawn Mower Tires at 5 stars based upon value for price and the fact that I really don't like dealing with flat tires; especially little flat tires and, most especially, little flat tubeless tires. If you've ever de-mounted/ re-mounted one of these you'll likely know what I mean. Also, it's been my impression that all small tubes these days simply leak air slowly and always need to be pumped up. At less than 5-1/2 lbs. each, these solid polyurethane tires are much lighter than the solid rubber tires I'm more accustomed to. I have no idea how performance and longevity will compare, but the old solid rubber tires never seemed to have problems, we'll see. I'm still not clear by the presentation if the load rating is 350 lbs. for each wheel, or for the pair. I assume it's per wheel- 700 lbs. per pair, There is no weight rating marked on the tires. There is a zerk fitting on each wheel that deposits grease into the cavity behind the outer bearing. I have my doubts that this will serve much of any purpose given that the bearings are sealed, at least the 3/4" size. The smaller bearings are closed, but do not have rubber seals. I'm impressed that a selection of different size bearings and spacers is included. All-in-all, these are nice wheels at their current price of around $67 for the pair. ... show more

They are good but not the same smooth ride as air tires. Guess they’ll do for now.
