My boyfriend has a good collection of outside devices (lawn mower, snow blower, power washer, etc.) that are too big for his shed. We were using a tarp that unfortunately started to fall apart due to old age and needed to replace it with a new one that would protect these devices. This tarp turned out to be perfect! Made of 14ml material – this has proved to be really rugged in some severe thunderstorms we have had. With reinforced edges and brass grommets – it’s held up really well and looks like it will work out very well no matter what weather conditions we have to deal with. My boyfriend and I also like to go camping and this tarp may prove to be the perfect solution for our camping outdoors. This tarp was the right dimension and heavy duty enough for my project without breaking the bank. It’s always good to keep a couple extra tarps on hand for when that one that has been sitting out in the sun begins to fade like darkness at dawn. This tarp has been used to keep my firewood out of the rain the few days we had some heavy rainfall other than that it’s just waiting for opportunities to get put on the starting team. This is a blue/black tarp with grommets on the sides. It is exactly as described. I am using this to cover the part of my garden that is currently unused to smother out weeks and heat a chip layer to quickly decompose the chips into soil. Every week I turn the tarp back and heavily water the area to promote quick decomposition, and the tarp is not impacted at all by the moisture. It is holding up well in the high (100 plus) temps. I enjoy cutting firewood, it’s somewhat therapeutic to me. So I cut a ton of firewood every year. I Don’t have enough space to store all of the firewood I cut so I often keep a pile under tarp for about a year before I have enough space in one of the wood sheds to store it. I have been using another tarp for a few years that finally got thin enough and damaged from exposure to the sun and weather that it started to tear and shred. I ordered this as a replacement. I love the reinforced corners on this. It seems to be thicker than my previous one was when it was new and it seems to be a good, thick quality tarp that should last a little longer than the last one I had. I also don’t think it’s an unreasonable price for what you actually get. In comparison to others, it certainly seems to be pretty reasonable in price. I’m certainly happy with the apparent quality. Now, can somebody please make a tarp with a built-in snake repellent so when I pull this off the wood pile there’s not a snake sitting underneath it? This is a thick, durable, heavy duty cover. I used it to cover the whole roof of our camping trailer after a tree limb came through during a storm. I also used it to line my truck bed for loads of mulch. The holes are nice too. Strong enough to be pulled by ratchet straps. It’s a nice blue that I thought would fade fast but it’s still going strong. Still looks good as new after hosing it off. ... show more

This jumbo tarp is quality and will be fantastci for our fall leaf cleanup. The grommets are good, strong ones. We have a pretty rocky yard, so I'll find out how tear resistant it is.
