Though at least one review stated that the fabric was thin, it must be noted that this is not cotton - it may be cotton polyester at best - which is fine for the use I have for them. They get softer as they are washed. The pieces are big enough to make up to 18" doll clothes and sturdy enough for them as well. I used this fabric to make a lap quilt. It was a little thinner than I would have liked but the patterns and colors (pink) were pretty. It would be suitable for masks and other small items also.

The fabric is NOT 20 x 20. It's about 19 and 3/4inches. I was very disappointed. I wanted to get 2 10 inches squares out them! Love the color! Easy to work with
