Hello, I just got this. And I was on the fence. I bought a previous device in order to record Lps. Many Lps never made it to Cd. And it bothers me to be unable to listen to what I want to listen to. When you own something you can listen to it when you want, instead of risking it being taken of what music service you subscribed to just to hear the song or songs. Amending this review, another nice thing is that the manufacturer, included red and white cables so you can hook it up to other speakers. I did find the speakers to be really good, loud and rich. And there is also a cable included to hook up an MP3 or what ever you want to the system. I found this to be a nice system and had I not ran into an issue with needing to record an album, I would have found this to be the nicest system It doesn't have a digital display but the speakers really are wonderful. Anyway this has a very warm tone to it. The CD player is nice. Even with my Ska Cd's of older recordings, the sound quality was still good. It also made my classical Cds sound well. I haven't any cassettes to try. Or Recording yet, but this is a very nice device. I wasn't sure if I would like the looks of it because , as an eightie's girl, I liked stereo's with equalizers and shiny lights, like the ones from Tweeter. The veneer is nice, but the buttons are hard to see. This unit doesn't come with a remote. Some people won't like it. Frankly I am always losing them. and I hate machines that don't work with out the remote. You may want to have this in a well lit area. The button set up is different. There are three buttons on each side, same shiny veneer as the unit. One side has the USB/SD Button probably like other equipment, used to show where the recording output be it LP, CD, or Cassette will be recorded to. The Recording button is underneath for recording to the SD or USB card. Then there is a Repeat, Program button for the Cd to manage the order of music, whether it should be repeated or how to listen to it in other ways. The Opposite side has three buttons, the top pausing and playing the Cd. Ironically, there is no stop button. The two beneath are for forward and reversing the tracks. The machine has a cable to connect this to another device like MP3 Player or computer so the sound outputs through the stereo. There is also a bluetooth feature, just switch from FM to bluetooth, under the dial. You also have to move the dial to the radio function. And if that was switched to Bluetooth, then the red letters on the dial will blink and you know you can pair the device. Unfortunately, it only pairs to one device at a time unlike some speakers which do two, so you may need to unpair it from one device to switch to another device. The volume it good. If there are issues with the sound, you may need to tinker with the device. For example with my switch I had to deactivate the volume control for headphones and the over all unit. Just as an aside, when recording, some systems seem to only accept a 32 gig sd card or 32 USB gig card. I don't know why, but I suspect if there are recording issues. it is because the card is 64 or above. Anyway, I will update this when I am able to successfully record or not, my LPs. The radio is ok. I live in the boonies with Hills so I get lousy reception anyway. I miss Boston. Anyhow, this is a very nice machine. It makes my music sound good, no matter what it is. I am glad I got it, though I was on the fence. ... show more

NIce system and fairly easy to use. Wish I could adust sound quality, as it's a bit tinny. But otherwise, works fine. It records records to SD card, which is what we got it for.

This is an update to my earlier poor rating. Even though both Amazon's return and product support windows had expired, I decided to contact the company directly. WOW! I explained what the issue was and they replied the next day to confirm that the stereo was defective and to double check my mailing address. Within a week I had a brand new stereo sitting on my porch! And I didn't have to return the faulty stereo! That's what I call CUSTOMER SERVICE! What seller does that? Such an awesome company, now I would highly recommend buying this stereo because it comes from a company that can be trusted! PREVIOUS POOR RATING: Of course, just my luck, the radio dial has stopped working just 18 days after the return window and product support was closed. Luckily, it was on a favorite radio station when it quit working, but now I can't change the station at all. You can turn the dial left, right, nothing. The sounds is OK at best, it is better on the radio and CD player, but is a little lacking on the phonograph setting. Maybe it will sound better if I get some other speakers to plug into the jacks on the back. It doesn't have much bass, and would really benefit from control of that. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great for someone that has music from multiple forms of media. My dad has been collecting music for years and for the most part on medias that this player can play. The literal on thing that’s missing was and 8 track. The record player looks extremely cool. It has a vintage vibe. For the size of an extremely impressed with the sound quality and level. I bought this for a gift for my father. However, I did use it for two days to make sure everything function fine. It is great, compact, and quality. It’s a one stop shop for music!     • I really tried!
I have been looking at this record player for over a month now trying to decide whether or not to buy it. I have many record players and was looking to get something that was a little better since it has all the features. Record player/CD/cassette/etc. I opened the box, unpackaged the item, sat it up in my dining room..basically just plug and play....but wow! Just wow!! This player has got to be top on the list for the worst sounding audio I have ever had! It does everything it's supposed to, but it's like there is absolutely no bass whatsoever while listening, especially when playing records, which is mostly what I wanted it for, so huge disappointment there. I have played the unit once and without doubt that is probably about all it will get. I searched the unit for some kind of adjustments, changed the needle, hooked the unit up to bigger speakers, everything I could think of but nothing would improve the sound at all...the player is also very loud...you only need to turn the volume halfway at most....but it's so tinny that it's very piercing to the ears! ☹️ I really tried to like this unit, but there is just no way I can I'm back to using what I started with...a very compact little suitcase record player and it sounds by far better than this one.
