  • This kit changed my mind about Nifeliz
Please note that I bought this kit. I've built 4 or 5 Nifeliz kits and wrote negative reviews and stopped buying their kits. This one intrigued me so I bought it anyway. What a difference from previous kits! The manual had fewer instructions per page, very clear pictures and the book stayed together. The pieces fit way better and is the equal of that Danish company. The finished project is gorgeous and works very well. If the chains seem flimsy as others have written, check them closely as the most likely problem is one of the pins on a link is not seated correctly into the next link. I'm very impressed with the great increase in quality of this kit over previous ones from this company. ... show more

  • Very Awesome Complex Build
The media could not be loaded. This was one of the coolest brick builds I've ever done. It's fairly complex, but not overly difficult if you're mechanically inclined. Just pay close attention and build everything tight, leave just enough play in the rotating connections. I would imagine some lubrication would make this even more smooth, and the motion is already very smooth. Highly recommended, but pay attention 🤘 The part quality was exceptional. No loose fitting parts, no missing parts. High quality gloss printed manual on nice paper. ... show more

  • Fun and Detailed V8 Engine Kit!
I got this kit because it’s large and looked like a fun project—and I was right! It was a blast to build. I originally planned to tackle it solo, but my son jumped in as my “part manager,” which made the experience even better. The bags were numbered well, making it easy to find the right parts. However, I was missing one piece, which was frustrating. Luckily, I had parts from other kits to fill the gap, but if I didn’t, it would’ve been a challenge to continue. The instructions were fantastic—clear, well-illustrated, and thorough. Just a heads-up, though: it’s a full book, not a quick guide, but it’s laid out in a way that’s easy to follow. The finished engine now sits proudly on my desk as a display piece. I’m planning to hook it up to an electric motor so I don’t have to hand-crank it. Overall, this was a very fun build, despite the minor hiccup. Would definitely recommend! ... show more

  • An amazing and fun build
I’ve built many models from Lego through a list of the offerings from various 3rd party companies that have cropped up over the years. Lego of course sets the bar by which others are to be judged, and to that end I’ve had pretty mixed results with alternate brands; even when going from one model to the next from the same company. Note: I use the term “brick” and “brick system” loosely to refer to both the actual brick style as well as the Lego Technic beam style. To me there are a few key areas when it comes to brick systems that dictate whether or not the build will be enjoyable: the instructions, the fit/build quality of the bricks, and the packaging (numbered bags or not), setting aside the final model itself of course. I have built many complex MegaConstrux sets which didn’t have numbered bags, and basically just left you digging through a huge bowl looking for parts. Thankfully, that is not the case here, and between the individually numbered bags and the clear instructions, this has been a very enjoyable build so far. Pros: + Clear, detailed instructions that are easy to follow. + Individually numbered bags that coincide with the instructions. ** Sometimes more than one with the same number, but they line up. + Excellent parts quality, with no overly tight or too loose fitting parts so far. + A massive number of pieces are included, and for the price this is a remarkable value. + Large, intricate, and fun to build set that results in a working model of a V8 engine. Cons: - I hesitate to call this a con so much as something worth noting, and that is due to the overall complexity and sheer size of the model, that this is something that will require a level of attention to detail and patience that will generally rule out most kids under 12. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this set. It offers an amazing value for what you’re getting, not just due to the sheer number of parts, but the satisfaction you get during the assembly of the model itself. While I’m still working on this one at a leisurely pace, it is clear from pictures and video of the completed model just how cool it will be once complete. If you’re looking for a challenging but fun build, I highly recommend you give this one very serious consideration. ... show more
