I ordered this as a mother's day gift to myself. I grew up with Home Alone and have always loved those movies. I had my eye on this for years, but wasn't ready to spend the money on it. I finally caved. It arrived exactly on mother's day (it wasn't supposed to arrive until a day or two after mother's day), and the fact that it did made my day that much more amazing. I built this entire set in 2 days. I had so much fun building it, and I don't care that I'm an adult playing with toys, because this was just an amazing lego set to create. If you love legos, and especially if you love the lego sets that are architectural, you'll love this. I've set up the set as a display in my home. My kids know it's not a toy lol. I never thought I‘d buy my 13 yr old an expensive Lego set. We watch Home Alone (the 1st one) a couple times a year though & this is a unique set. Plus I’m so proud of my micro premie son (twin 😢) who beat ALL odds (1.5lbs , born at 24wks) and is a WIZ/Genius kiddo. This is easy to put together and the level of detail is well done! The scene where Kevin sleds down the stairs & it lines up with the wall instead of the front door, same. Burned hat & head, popcorn, Mac & Cheese, all there. Each level comes apart too. I’m so impressed. I also found a light set for this. It’s out of my budget after this Lego set, but that company is amazing to work with. Now just add the music!! Hope you enjoy it as much as we are. Santa brought this for my 12 year old son who had loved Home Alone for years. The house is awesome! So many details and movable parts that are true to the movie. I purchased this for my daughters birthday present and she absolutely loves is. we spent 4 days working together on it and it was a great bonding time. The product is somewhat easy ( just have to be patient) and make sure everything is being put one EXACTLY where its suppose to) otherwise your gonna have to go redo alot of it. Its very sturdy and large so a nice big base to install ontop would help move it around. Well worth the money and lots of fun( challenging). Highly recommend! ... show more

We all know Legos are expensive so I cannot say it is a great value, but my daughter wanted this for Christmas. It isn't "easy" to assemble, but it shouldn't be because it is for 18+. She needs help putting it together but she is 11. I am enjoying helping and all the little details included in the set are pretty cool! They include a little spider, a sled for Kevin to go down the steps and so on. If you child likes Legos I recommend this set. ... show more
