Love this filament it prints very nice and lays out nicely. Just make sure your temp is set right and bed temp as well and you will enjoy this item. We have bought over 60 rolls from Amazon and are very happy to have done so. People at Micro Center say not to buy on Amazon but that’s because they are on commission. We have 10 printer and have no issues. Heck ender filament has cardboard reels, and they sometimes have issues in the dryers. These work great. ... show more

I’m using MIKA3D filament for the first time and am extremely happy with the way the model is coming out. The silky sheen is beautiful and I will be looking for more projects to print with this filament as soon as I submit this review! I do have a specific dragon in mind, for sure! I ordered "Silk Shiny Blue Purple Fast Color Changed Multi-Colored Rainbow PLA Filament" but I received "Silk Blue-Purple Type Rainbow" Similar names, but very different colors! Printed a few things to be sure. Definitely different colors, but not terrible. Didn't feel like going through the whole return/ replace process so I'm keeping it. Maybe I'll try for the original Color another time!! ... show more

It has alot of the teal/green and yellow, but not much purple comes out and the colors aren't quite as light. I still like the fillament, it prints good, no problems at all. I would buy it again. It is just that the colors don't come out as expected. It isn't suppose to be sheer, so I left those stars off ... show more

Color: Silk Silver/Copper/Gold
Great stuff. Reflects light similarly to machined metal. Gold looks slightly orangey, especially if side-by-side with anything that is actually gold... but silver looks like machined aluminum. Very happy overall.

I am new to 3D printing and wanted some silk filament. Due to the colors (Gold, Silver, and Bronze), this is what I purchased. There appears to be bubbling or some sort of issue occurring with mainly the bronze color.

Printed at 200 with no problems. Definitely shiny on the spools, but not so much when printed flat. I thought I was getting "transparent", but apparently messed up the order and received "shiny". While the filament in the round does shine, flat is more like a bright... I will have to put it all together to see how well back-lighting works. (Note: image indigo band is not from this set - it's purple over blue transparent PETG). ... show more

Originally bought this since this 3pk had the colors I needed to finish an Obi Wan lightsaber I was printing. Overall, I had little to no issues with this filament! I even made a gold Bulbasaur succulent planter since I love the way it shines in the light. After leveling, I didn't have any problems with getting the filament to stick to my build plate. They provided a glue stick to assist with adhesion, but that will be used for some other crafts tbh Another reviewer mentioned the best printing temp for them was a little over 200 degrees. That was true for me as well. The recommended temp listed on the spools is 220, but that was a bit too high imo. ... show more
