I love this brand's transparent filament. Love that they come in a variety of colors. But if only they offered individual transparent color sales. Like, If I want 2 blue spools, It would be great if I can buy 2 without having to buy the whole pack, and other colors I don't use as much. Also, the snagging that occurs for some of the colors!! This ABS ran in my duplicator 6 great I did have to run the temperature up a little higher in my Bambu. And you have to give it a little more area to hang on but I do not have the smooth PEI yet for the build plate

Overall good PLA filament. The variety of colors for the price makes it a food purchase, as sometimes you need some colored but don't want to buy (and wait for) a 1kg full spool. However the rolls are not completely air right, so I'd recommend drying them before use.

I have printed 6 colors of this collection and they all printed very well. They are more difficult to remove from the build plate than most other PLA filaments I have used, but once I figured that out it has not been a problem. The printed parts have a metalic shimmer and great color. Fun stuff. Amended: These printed great with standard PLA Cura settings when I first opened them. I did a 13 hour print with no issue. Using the same filament again a couple weeks after it had been opened I got my first ever nozzle clog, lots of stringing, and non-adhesion. I increased the nozzle temperature to 230 and the bed temperature to 60. Used glue stick on the glass bed. Speed at 60mm. Increased the flow to 110%. Not sure which of these things made the difference but it prints great with these settings. ... show more

I'm new to the 3d printing world & thought I would be getting a good deal with lots of color options. This material has made my introduction to 3d printing a whole lot more painful than it should have been. Lots of failed prints & I was having a hard time figuring out what the issue was. I modified my print settings time & time again. I tried putting my printer in an enclosure hoping to get better print results but the plastic just kept delaminating no matter what I tried. I would do it at random parts during my print. I found out that these cheap materials have lots of fillers in them so they don't print properly. When I decided to use a different PLA from a different manufacturer, the results drastically improved. All the issues I was fighting just disappeared. My prints started coming out perfectly. The only change was the filament. After learning my lesson, I threw this stuff in the garbage where it belongs. If you want to avoid the headache, don't purchase this & get some quality material to print with from a different manufacturer. ... show more

This was a good buy for the amount of filament received and for the price. The colors are super beautiful. Now that I have had a chance to use my filament so far on two different spools of the silk pla I have found a spot where the filament overlaps. It really was disappointing in the way I had to find this flaw. I was in the middle of a print that was 14 hours long and it destroyed my print. ... show more

Excellent product, zero complaints. No problems printing this with the Generic PLA profile on my Prusa MK3S+ which I’ve only had for two weeks. Any first layer problems are your printers fault. The shininess is very nice and metallic. I’ve included a pic of a StrongHero Silk Copper print next to the Mika3d Silk Shiny Copper for comparison. I’ve printed with four of the 12 colors so far. Was concerned about the Champaign as the package did not appear to be vacuum sealed but it printed with zero problems, just like the others. Yes, you’re getting half size rolls but you’re getting 12 colors for what you’d pay for 6 full-size spools, so a fair trade-off, IMO. ... show more
