The Exceed-RC is reinventing the trucks to a whole new level, a compact much smaller version of the popular 1/10Th scale Infinity. The New 2.4Ghz Exceed-RC 1/16Th Scale Thunder Fire Nitro Gas Truck is the newest off road mini truck model full scale. The Thunder Fire is build with aluminum tower and aluminum capped oil filled coil over shocks for optimal baja racing or everyday thrashing. Powering this mini monster is an oversized .07 CXP engine with a wide band transmission, propelling this Thunder Fire to top speeds. The Excced-RC Thunder Fire is one of a kind and with the mini scale always fascinates hobby operators these days. Would have give 5 stars. But! I have to buy parts online. All local hobby shops say you have to buy online. This is a real good starter nitro truck. Fast for a .07 motor. Have ran 20 tanks of fuel so far after 2 break-in tanks and still runs like new money. All ways out of the box check all screws and nuts before you run. I do recommend! ... show more

    • Don’t buy!!!! Better off with something from Walmart
During break in nut backed off of carburetor holding throttle open hit breaks and cheap disc stripped on shaft causing wreck. Had to order parts to fix. Get it fixed two weeks later after parts arrived and the second servo won’t recenter after hitting breaks and causes throttle to open wide. Do yourself a favor and spend another $200 and get a traxxas. This truck is now sitting on a shelf until I decide I’ll throw it in the garbage. ... show more

Its hard to start and stay running. Its always dying out. Can't even keep it running long enough to put the truck body on to drive it.I was very unhappy because I spent alot of money on this product

I think this is an excellent little nitro truck. It works great and is pretty fast considering the engine it has. Personally I am satisfied with the speed. If you are new to these kinds of toys, I would get an electric one. This is for the advance people. Mine started on the 3rd pull, which is great. The price is excellent. Just make sure you get the kit and some extra glow plugs. I have not gone through one glow plug yet though so. I recommend this truck definitely. ... show more

this item never worked, the day we got it we tried to crank it, the pull start would not catch to crank, had to file a claim with amazon. the seller refused to get make the deal right! i do not recommend this item to anyone!!!!
