We love garlic but dislike peeling it and mincing it. Unless we are dicing a large number of cloves (in which case we use our mini-food processor) it is usually a tedious job of peeling and chopping. This little tool is a great time saver-but there are a couple of things you should know. In order to peel a clove with the little resin tube you must apply a good deal of pressure as you roll it back and forth ( with the clove inside). Surprisingly it does get the peel off or mostly off. As for the mincer- it works really well. I recommend you slice the clove in half lengthwise so there is a flat surface; put the flat surface down on your cutting board then press down with the mincer rocking it back and forth. In a second or two you have a nicely minced clove. All in all a nice, well made stainless steel tool that works well. ... show more

This little gadget is absolutely WONDERFUL! It took me a minute to figure out the rubber garlic peeler, but it works great. Then using the roller part of the garlic mincer is so much easier than using a press. Clean up is a jiffy too! The little scraper knife broke, but I wrote the seller and he is sending me a new one! The garlic press is really great, as well as the silicone peeler. But I was really disappointed when the scraper fell apart after 10 seconds of use! I am bummed because I thought having the small scraper was a really cool idea. But now I know better.

I was so excited to buy a garlic press that was easy to use and easy to clean. This product was just right. The only down fall was that the little knife that came with it to scrape the garlic off the press was super flimsy and the metal and the wood came apart after the 2 use. I love the rubber thing that came with it to peel the garlic skin off. One of my favorite things to use in the kitchen. I’m using more fresh garlic in my meals! ... show more

Not as easy to crush the garlic as I had hoped. Needs more pressure than I can easily exert. Someone taller (better leverage) or stronger than me would like it better. The tube for peeling garlic works great!
