Features

  • Cleverly designed multi-function garlic tool for crushing and mincing
  • Simply place on top of garlic clove and rock back and forth
  • Scoop out crushed garlic for use in your recipes
  • Stainless Steel material eliminates garlic odor from hands
  • Dishwasher safe

Description

By using downward pressure and a 'rocking' Motion, This stylish tool breaks up garlic cloves quickly and easily, forcing the pieces up through the mesh of holes in its base. The crushed pieces are then held in the curved design, allowing them to be spoon or scraped conveniently into a pan or bowl. Additional cloves can also be crushed at this stage before emptying. Rocker is easy to clean under running water but is also dishwasher safe. As it is made from brushed, 18/8 Stainless Steel, the unit can be rinsed under running water, after use, and used to gently rub the hands and fingers to reduce any garlic odor (Stainless Steel is thought to remove the strong odors left from handling garlic).

  • Versitile, but messy if you're preparing large quantities
Style: New Packaging Pattern Name: Crusher
Bought this for its versatility and ease of cleaning. It delivers on those points. I think this is a great solution for someone who uses smaller amounts (a few cloves) of garlic or ginger. After a point, it gets pretty messy, though. It's nice that it works well on ginger in addition to garlic. I think anyone who doesn't have strong grip strength (and finds a garlic press hard to use) and uses smaller amounts of garlic when they cook will really like this. ... show more

  • Great press, way better than other designs
Style: New Packaging Pattern Name: Crusher
I had the cheaper plastic version and liked it a lot. The plastic eventually fatigued and it broke . This all metal one is way more sturdy

  • Ok
Style: New Packaging Pattern Name: Crusher
Use when you want larger garlic pieces. Does not yield tiny mashed pieces.

Didn't work for me but it could be the way I was trying to use it

  • Works nice.

Good quality. Use a spoon to clean both side of the crusher.

  • Easier to use, does a better job then "pliers" type garlic press
Style: New Packaging Pattern Name: Crusher
I have a nice pliers style stainless steel garlic press that I think was the top pick by America's Test Kitchen when I bought it. The new rocker style one does a more thorough job, not leaving garlic behind in the press or squished out over the edges. (It does take fairly firm downward pressure and rocking back and forth to get it all.) And the minced garlic collects in the bowl shaped top of the press so that it's easy to transfer to wherever you want to use it. I do suggest cleaning any residue out of the holes by hand so that it doesn't dry there. I'm not sure whether the dishwasher would get it all or not. Usually just scraping it with a spoon or the back of a knife blade under running water is enough, but a toothpick can help if needed. ... show more

  • Works great and is easy to clean
Style: New Packaging Pattern Name: Crusher
I like how simple this design is and how easy it is to clean. It cuts the garlic into little pieces rather than mincing or mashing it to smithereens. It sure is faster and safer than dicing with a knife. Much easier to clean than our old hinged garlic press. Just a note to say I don't easily give out five stars in reviews. This simple cooking tool should be so deserving, except for the high cost. Something this simple shouldn't cost so much. :) ... show more
