  • Zotac 12GB 3060 Graphics Card
Had and old 480GT 4GB card that couldn't keep up with the new computer I built. Built an I5 12600KF on an MSI Z790 motherboard, 32GB DDR 5 memory, 512GB Windows11 OS SSD, 2 TB hard drive, and a 2TBNVMe SSD. Thought i would use the old card until I could find a card that I liked but that just didn't work out! The old card just refused to even display the games I was trying to run. Bought the Zotac first, because it would ship from Amazon faster by about 2 weeks that the cheaper MSI 3060 I was initially looking at would. It cost me an additional $60 dollars but I didn't want to have to wait 2 weeks for it! Second, I watched some reviews on the Zotac 3060 on YouTube and the performance numbers were better by about 6 to 8 percent. I installed the card when it arrived and installation was a breeze. Booted up the card, went to their website and installed the software, also easy. Rebooted the machine and the card performs flawlessly!! The card will run older games like Diablo 3 in all high and ultra settings at about 325 to 355 FPS at 1080! Haven't tested Armored Core 6 yet but reviews say that Steam loves this card and the visuals are beautiful and smooth at the initial install settings. The Firestorm card management software that you download from Zotac's website is excellent and allows you manage the graphics card overclock rate, individual fan speeds, memory overclock rates, etc. A great utility to ensure that your video card is staying cool and it has custom configurations to allow you to define your own set points. It also displays the GPU and memory temperatures so you can watch your temps change when you reconfigure the fans settings. This card I know isn't as fast as the new 40 series graphics cards are but unless you intend to play the newest games on ultra high settings and have a monitor that can support those settings as well, this card is definitely a great value for the average player and the performance will surprise you unless you are looking to spend $800 up to $1500 on a video card just so you can have bragging rights with your friends!! A $349.99 price is definitely reasonable for me, where $800 to a $1000 is not! Also if you are OK with a longer delivery wait the MSI 3060 card is pretty much the exact same card with a bit slower GPU clock timing but at about a $60 cheaper price. To be honest, I don't think you will see any difference in the 5 to 8 frames a seconds difference between the 2 cards when the difference is in the 80 FPS area anyway. Either way, I definitely think this card is a winner for the price and performance!!! ... show more

  • Works great! Worth the opportunity
Despite being a resale product it just performs as a Brand-new, definitely worth the shot for what you’re saving if you have limited budget

  • Updated my computer hardware. This was recommended!
It was time to "rebuild" my desktop PC with new motherboard, ram, m.2 drives, power supply and I was going to keep my EVGA 1080x GPU (last updated in 2016). I ran the proposed build by a friend that builds gaming systems (which this is not), and he advised getting an RTX 3060. I followed his advice and am very happy with the decision. I only just got the system up and running and haven't had time for gaming yet, but the unit is very quiet and is running smoothly. It was also affordable, compared to some of the higher-end GPUs. I do a lot of photo editing, video cataloging and also audio work, along with bill-pay and other mundane stuff. I'm running an ASUS Crosshair VIII Dark Hero with 32GB Gskill ram, 2 Samsung N980 Pro m.2 drives, an AMD 7 5800X CPU and a Corsair RM100x PSU. To say Windows updates and software installation goes quickly, would be a huge understatement! ... show more

  • Good value.
For how expensive GPU is these days this is pretty good for its price. It will run games just fine. As long as you are trying to play everything at its highest setting this GPU will do great and last for a long time.

  • Unremarkable but stable and good price to performance ratio
Just had to replace my Radeon RX 6750XT due to extenuating circumstances. So, performance wise this is a moderate downgrade from what I had before, but I didn't have the budget to replace spec for spec for the ruined GPU, so saved myself the $100 by going with the RTX 3060. So far, I'm happy with it. Paired with a Ryzen 5 3600, Jedi Survivor at 1080p with "High" settings and "Epic" textures, with film grain and chromatic leveling disabled runs at a solid 45-50 fps, and frankly looks better image-quality wise than the 6750xt. Everything else has been fine. Deep Rock Galactic, Resident Evil 4, Supraland, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, all run smoothly. I can't speak to "higher level" performance at 1440p or 4k, but for gaming done primarily at 1080p with strictly-mid range CPU will work just fine. Couple of notes on the physical dimensions of the card --- This card is smaller than I expected and much lighter than my RX6750. Will easily fit in medium-small cases. Also only requires a single 12v PCI-X power connector instead of 2, so will be less power hungry. Can probably get away with a 600 Watt PSU, rather than a 750 or 800 watt like the Radeon would require. Dual fans are nearly silent at idle; literally can't hear them. Under load audible fan noise can be heard, but it's entirely reasonable and not distracting, at least to me. Haven't checked temperatures, but my RX6750 never had heat issues using standard stock cooling and clocking, so I can't imagine an RTX3060 would have any. ... show more

  • Perfect budget card
Built a gaming PC for a well-deserving family friend. For the price, it handles every game she's thrown at it, and more. 40 series cards are questionable, but this is a good product at a reasonable price/performance

Great card decent read speeds low power consumption compared to other demanding cards I’m pushing all my games in 2k super smooth some games will do low settings in 4k on my rig great for a budget build my only suggestion is running 32gbs of ram so that way you have the perfect amount of overhead Thank the group at Zoltax for giving us such a great card at an affordable price ! ... show more
