I am not a tech whizz. I don't know a lot about electronics. So I wanted to make sure that setting up a security camera would be simple enough to figure out without me needing to ask for help. Setting this camera up was a breeze. I just downloaded the app, hung it up, and plugged it in. That was it. The longest part of the process was hanging it up, but that was more due to finding the right spot to put it. Adjusting the angle and picture can all be done right from my phone. I don't have to climb up a ladder every time I want to change the angle. I just open the app and adjust the angle. The camera responds without fail. The picture quality is excellent. I have had no issues with the camera, or the app. For someone whose knowledge of such things is extremely limited, this entire process was just about as easy as it gets. ... show more

This camera is highly functional. I like that you can use it as a to a intercom. Good night vision function works pretty well. I like the fact that I get a text message every time that the camera and the text motion and it differentiates whether it is a human or not. I do however wish the picture quality was a little bit better. I like the pan and tilt function that allows me to see 360° and the app is not very hard to navigate at all. The camera installed easily enough, other than needing a long attachment to screw in the screws since the camera body is in the way. The picture is good and can zoom in from the smart phone screen. It does pick up humans and push notifications to you. I use this on my dock to monitor if anyone is there that shouldn't be. There are a couple things that would make this 5 stars: 1. Ability to set reference locations for the camera, so that you can easily select them and the camera will go there without you having to hold the control buttons down to move the camera 2. One click motion detection on/off. When you are on the dock, you don't want the detection alarms going off constantly, it takes a bit to open the app and navigate to the settings of the app to turn on and off the motion detection alarms. 3. Ability to set the camera to patrol/pan/sentry scan between set points, then if it picks up a human shape, to follow the human (human tracking is enabled, but not the more basic patrol function. ... show more
