I’ve slept on this thing every night for the past 3 or so months and it’s been great. I have not had any issues with my back or other body parts. I fold it in half and there is just enough cushion to keep me comfy while I sleep. Considering the size, it rolls up and is compact enough to store away.

Multiple memory foam from nectar to lucid. This is actually very very and surprisingly comfortable. I'm a minimalist. The cotton is woven thick, it feels durable, the cushioning in between is lush, convenient to fold and put away, the color is as depicted (I chose grey), and the cotton is soft and breathable. I was looking for a Japanese style tatami and this has been amazing! We've bought 3. Easy to roll up and store away, and very comfortable to sleep on. We put a queen sized one permanently on tatami on a bed frame and we've bought two twin ones as guest mattresses (for adults or kids sleepovers).

I got the ZonLi Japanese Futon Mattress, and it's really awesome! It's like a cozy bed that you can put on the floor, and it's made of soft cotton. The best part is, it's not just comfy, but it's also super versatile. What's cool is they added tufted accents, which basically means they stitched everything together to make it flat and strong. It looks fancy too, like those nice sofas you see in Europe and America. And guess what? You can use it for lots of things! It can be a mattress topper, a bed for your room, or even a comfy seat in the living room. I've taken it for camping, and it's perfect for naps and picnics. Plus, the company says they'll help if there are any problems. One thing to know is that when it arrives, it's squished in a small package. But don't worry, just let it sit for a couple of minutes, and it puffs up to its normal thickness. Overall, the ZonLi Japanese Futon Mattress is a great buy if you want a comfy and versatile bed. We bought this for a camping trip. It worked well but once out of its original packaging it was extremely bulky and could not even fit back in the extra back it came with. Though pretty comfy for sleeping it was not worth it in the end, as it can’t be stored easily.

Ok after a little over a week of getting this bed lots talk. Package was not damaged at all . opened up to find extra carry bag which was amazing to get also. Bed was vaccum sealed in other carry bag . so we got a bonus one outstanding already. If not needed for bed guess what u can fit ur bedding to take it all with if needed never know. Be suoer careful cutting to open not to cut bed. Once open not bad smells at all. Its growing after a while it gets almost 3 inches not bad. Checked all seams and buttons all good . so op3ned bedding I got on here to bamboo sheets buckwheat pillow and down comforter. Was so ready to jave bed sofa over 6 months in new home. So me and the pup laid to rest first night . woke up alarm to amazing rest . back didnt hurt at all. Note its soft but not over gives just that little body needs. With all other stuff amazing rest. Another night sleeping ways I never did and again waking up easier. Also mines on floor till I make a frame. Outstanding sleep ok really its didnt break the bank. So again after over weeks I can say outstanding rest. I find my body isnt hurting like before in other beds . if wake up easier feeling nore ready to go but you know what I just want to rest more cause it feels great. For the cost invested its worth it and each person is different if you dont like it u got a spare ved for guest or a sofa set many options its a win . thanks so much and cant wait till bed again today my cloud is calling me . ... show more

    • If you're expecting a traditional Futon then don't buy this.

It's okay, and it works fine as a guest bed when unexpected guests come over, but otherwise, this is not a type of futon that Japanese authentically use, it's not very padded, the description says the thickness is 2 inches, but it quickly flattens when used, its not something you'd want to use permanently. It is comfy though and can help keep you warm during cold nights, also better than just sleeping on the floor. Pros: comfy, easy to fold, easy to carry, nice quality, compact, overpriced. Cons: not very padded, basically you still feel the floor underneath you, doesn't actually provide any additional support, it's basically no better than a sleeping bag with a blanket over it (seriously) honestly not worth the price, I got this on special and with a coupon for 80$ so I can't complain too much, but just go to big 5 and get a sleeping bag it'll probabaly cost a lot less and at least you can test it out before easily returning it, still debating wether i want to keep this thing, it just isn't firm at all. the same as stacking 3 thick blankets together, nothing special. ... show more
