This product dose gets chilly but if you are expecting the printed side to be cold too its not but its soft and comfortable but still thin and breathable.

Blankets are lightweight that way good for summertime. I've tried this blanket for weeks now. I still wake up a little sweaty. So to me it's not a cooling blanket. Just a blanket that is lightweight and thin. Otherwise it's good.

    • It Actually Seems to Lower Body Temperature

I was skeptical at first that this blanket would actually provide cooling while I was asleep, but on a couple of very hot summer nights I found that it really works. I was cooler under the ZonLi blanket than under the conventional sheet and light blanket I had used previously. I have no way of measuring the exact degree of cooling, but it was noticeable. The blanket is very lightweight and silky smooth to the touch. The side with the quilted pattern on it will keep you warm if it goes next to your body; for cooling you use the side with no print. It is wide enough to stretch across my Queen size bed, but just barely, with no overlap on the sides. It does slip around while you are placing it on the bed, but not very much when you are sleeping under it. All in all, it is very comfortable and pleasant, and it does cool you down. The one defect, at least as I see it, is that you cannot use a sheet with it, since you want the cooling surface of the blanket next to your body. That means that you have to wash it more often than you would a standard blanket. My technique is to use the Zonli only on hot nights when I need it for cooling, which cuts down significantly in how often it needs to be washed. ... show more

My wife is a hot sleeper and I thought this ZonLi Cooling Blanket,Queen Size Cooling Blanket with Breathable Fabric would be just the trick. Let's look. The blanket comes in a nice pouch and the production quality (lack of pulled threads, straight stitches, etc) is very good. I noticed nothing out of the ordinary. A quick wash and laid it in a room with the ceiling fan running. A couple of hours later, it was dry. All good. The thickness of the blanket is certainly less than any blanket we do have - it's is more than a heavy sheet, but less than a light blanket. But, that's just what would be needed for those muggy summer nights. Both sides are soft and provide good sensation. The printing on the top side is average, but a nice scene. And, the wife likes the feeling of the weight on her - a sheet is never enough. The "cooling" ability is still being determined. I'm not sure I believe the claims made that the blanket can "..quickly absorb your body heat, reducing skin temperature by 2 to 5 °C instantly...". Yes, the blanket is cooler, but is that because it is lighter weight? It will take many more uses as the season progresses to come to a definitive decision on that part of the product. Overall, this is a good, lightweight blanket that reflects quality production. Easy to clean and quick to dry. As for the special claims that it quickly absorbs body heat and reduces skin temperature, I don't see that yet. And, that claim is the basis for the product and, presumably, the premium price. I rate this as a good buy based on being a quality, lightweight blanket. ... show more
