To start the instructions were really easy as 123. The mini diagrams for each step indicating which portion of the bed you'd be constructing in that step were so useful and a great addition to the visuals that most instructional manuals lack, so I appreciated the thought and simple details that went into what Zinus provides their customers. Next I was so impressed and very thankful for the tools provided such as the rubber mallet and the rachet allen key. In addition to a traditional allen key for dual hardware when setting it up with 2 people. I always wanted a rachet allen key but never got around to purchasing one. But it is truly heaven sent to have in my collection of single lady tools now. As a thoughtful touch Zinus included an appreciation gift of stationary thank you cards for my use. And that little touch in addition to all the other items and details I mentioned above that zinus provided made me know that zinus is the type of company that is invested in its customers and their experience with their products...from the unboxing to the finished product zinus had me in mind and supported me the whole way. The construction is sound and very well manufactured. The additional sound proof strips eliminate any creaking that metal frames typically suffer from. The "stay-put" tape on alternating slates secure the mattress and keeps it in place. The PRICE is a paradox to this quality and attention to detail. I would have never expected this level of craftsmanship, thoughtfulness, and overall quality to be available at such a affordable price tag. You can't be disappointed in such a 5 star product with such a affordable price tag. It was definitely a surprise that I appreciate completely. We absolutely love this bed frame. It is easy to assemble and quite sturdy! We love that it is high up without needing any sort of box spring because the rails are that good! It is also so nice to decorate and just creates such an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. 10/10!

First of all, I am not one to write reviews. I either have to be over the moon or super disappointed. In this case, I am ecstatic! I was impressed from the start- they shipped quickly and I got my order within two days. The box was super heavy so I need assistance getting it inside, but that's not a surprise. It's a bed, and a very well made one, for that matter. I decided to write this review when I opened the box and saw how organized and well laid out the parts and instructions were. I'm a female living by myself and sometimes get intimidated by building/fixing things but not at all in this case. I had the bed built in less than an hour. There is one part of the assembly (connecting the headboard and footboard with the side rails) that would have been much easier with two people, but I managed it myself. It looks exceptional in my room! Last night was the first night I slept in it and I loved it. I cannot believe how sturdy it is. The mattress does not move. This company has literally thought about every detail, even the little extras they put in the package, like the cute thank you notes and the AMAZING little tool that made building the bed soooo much easier. That was a very pleasant and appreciated surprise. I'm a huge fan of this company. They delivered value and quality in a big way and for a very affordable cost, and I cannot say that about most companies these days. I will eagerly buy other products from them.     • Most Amazing Assembly Ever and High Quality
This was the easiest assembly that I think I have ever done with any kind of furniture. Every intersection was marked clearly so there was no way to put anything on backwards or wrong in any way. It also came with a nice little rachet that made assembly so much smoother. After the frame was assembled, the stability and quality of this this frame was well beyond what we honestly expected. I purchased this a while back. I love the sleek and modern look. I went back and forth on purchasing this because people said this sqeaked or fell apart. Finally ended up getting it and couldn't be happier! The directions for assembly was easy. I did this by myself. Mind you the box was heavy (huge thank you to the amazon delivery person!) But only heavy when everything was condensed into the box. The package instructions didn't specify to do this but I treated this bed frame like installing a tire. Tightening the opposite ends when putting it together. Tighten one corner, then move to the complete opposite and tighten that one. I'm a big boy and weight 230lbs. My black lab weighs 70lbs. My dog jumps up and down from the bed. There is some noise but not enough to annoy you. This frame doesn't squeak every time you move. It does make sounds but nothing horrible by any means. I've also had "fun" while in this frame and trust and believe the "motion of the ocean" is not a factor. It's sturdy and has lasted me a while now without a problem. There might be a few minor scratches from packaging but nothing anyone will ever notice unless they are looking at this bed frame with a magnifying glass. If this is something you would like to purchase to make a statement go for it! If this is something you want for practicality go for it! If you want a boring bed frame.... don't go for it.     • Sturdy Bed- Canopy is on the short side.
The bed is nice. Seems sturdy. So far. Instructions were relatively easy. The canopy is on the shorter side. Almost feels like a kids size bed. I do wish it were taller tho. Then it would have need 5 solid stars. I got a queen size. .
