I purchased two batches of it. I put everything into one vase. Please see photo. This is how it looks like. I still have to fix them a little bit. The stalks are bendable. They are pretty long and sturdy. You will need a heavy vase or have them back up on a wall or else they will tilt and fall along with the vase die to their weight. I love this pampas grass. The color is perfect and the height is as stated. 3 of the 14 stalks that I ordered were permanently bent about an inch from the end so I had to trim them. A little disappointed.
