While anything large can make it easier to notice that it is fake, this is a decent fake for the price. Tree is top heavy, so you will need something to weigh it down in a pot. Definitely play around with the branches and mold to fit your space. This does not have any silver hues, if that’s what you are looking for (my real olive tree does). This is all green. Much more for farmhouse decor if you are particular, but I’m making it work otherwise. Definitely do not go with a little pot, looks odd to have it be top heavy. I’m still trying to find the right pot and filler that is a good ratio, as you can see in the pictures, but getting there. Oh and your cats will love it, so as I said before, weigh it down. I still need to get a bag of rocks, but after it fell over once while my cat was hanging from it, he hasn’t tried again! :) Gave 5 stars for the price to quality ratio and ability to mold it how I like. ... show more

The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because it isn’t shaped like the one shown. The one I received is very round, and almost too perfect. Otherwise, it is pretty real looking. You must get very close before you can tell. Great buy for the price.

At the risk of sounding like a crazy person, I got online and reviewed this minutes after fluffing this tree and placing it in a big pot. IT IS GORGEOUS. I return anything that I do not love. Therefore when I unpacked this I was careful to not damage the box. Well I need not have worried. It looks amazing in person, maybe not exactly 7 feet but tall for sure. It looks real, it feels very solid and not flimsy, and was so easy to put together. This is not a small purchase for me and it is worth every penny. It is FULL, and not like those spindly ones that just go straight up. I LOVE it ! It does need a big pot because the little pot it comes in is maybe 6 by 6. But that way you can pick a pot you like and put green foam risers in the pot to give it more height. It even came with moss to put around the base. ... show more
