The unit is very nice and quiet. The shelves are not adjustable, but different areas are set up for larger format bottles. Overall, the spacing between most of the shelves at 3 3/8” fit most bottles better than other units we looked at. For the top zone which has five shelves, we use that for the white wine and set it at 45°. We measure the temperature readings at the top shelf and the bottom shelf. The top shelf registers about 43° and the bottom shelf registers about 47°. We use the bottom section for our red wines and set the temperature at 55°. It has 10 shelves. The top shelf measures about 50° and the bottom shelf is at 55°. The door is reversible if you wanted to open right or left. However, ordering through this company, you can’t pre-select which side you’d like it hinged from. You have to change it yourself if you want. It comes pre-hinged on the right side. Also, the delivery service is not into your house. They deliver it to the curb on the crate. You will need a couple people to un-crate it from the pallet, to carry into your home. The media could not be loaded. It was finally time to get a beverage cooler. I did a lot of research before I placed this order because most of the features are very similar to most of the brands such as the blue LED light, proper temperature, capacity, quiet. After some comparison, I finally choose the Zephyr cooler as most of my friends saying Zephyr is made for high-end with the perfect customer service and support. Also, after I google it, they have many experiences of the range hood development with a good reputation. I would like to share more about how I test the temperature. 1. Use the temperature probe to test the air temperature, which was confirmed was fluctuating +/- 4 deg Fahrenheit or more at times. I think the fluctuation is normal since the cooler uses a condenser that turns on and off to try to achieve a certain temperature. Also, that's how it saves energy? 2. I tested the liquid temperature and putting a meat thermometer into a cup of water inside the fridge. The water temperature stayed constant over 48 hours, which leads me to believe that the temperature of wine would remain constant notwithstanding fluctuations in air temperature. I got this cooler for two reasons: I wanted the high-quality unit and looks like it belongs in a modern kitchen. I am very happy with it. ... show more

We’ve had this wine refrigerator for just one month, but so far we could not be happier with the purchase. It is very nice looking, quiet, and functions perfectly with good temperature control. The shelves slide easily and are sturdy. Love the 3 choices for LED light color.

Bought this fridge (from another seller) after a lot of research. I consider myself a wine enthusiast and have a number of wines that are meant to age, so I needed something that I could keep wines aging while also keeping my "everyday" wines chilled. This fit the bill. I ended up purchasing the display shelf and it looks really nice although the addition of the display shelf will remove about 10-15 bottles from the storage capacity. This unit is pretty quiet and looks nice. Only drawback for me (and it is not a huge enough one to remove a star) is the lack of a lock on the door. The combination of the compressor and the blower fan going on at different times makes it painful to the ears. Buyer beware, the 44 dba sound decibel included in the specs is misleading and false.
