Did a lot of preliminary research/reading others' reviews on wine refrigs with numerous complaints of being flimsy, loud, temperature fluctuations and bottles would not fit. This unit is very sturdy, solid, heavy and pricy, but you get what you pay for. Pros: very quiet. Ours is free standing and looks great. Bought from local distributor consequently, no dings. Racks are sturdy and slide smoothly. Temp controls and lighting are very nice. We like the open door alarm. Thus far, appears the temp settings are right on. Cons: wish the spacing of the shelves was a fraction larger. Most of our chardonnay bottles fit easily, however the sparkling wine bottles do not. In the manufacturer's defense their website shows a visual description/size of what will fit and a cautionary tale. Our work around, on the "champagne" side, was to remove every other rack. Then could easily stack 3 champagne-sized bottles and even a 4th on top of that, thus not losing much space. Also, a couple of taller bottles would not fit, but we were cautioned about that. Have had only 3 weeks, so endurance review will come later. Very pleased thus far. Would recommend. ... show more
