  • Incredible sounding audio interface with 4 mic pre's at a reasonable price for what you get
Absolutely excellent interface! It has a complex user interface that takes some getting used to. Once you figure it out and/or read the pdf manual it's pretty amazing what it can do. The mic preamps sound fantastic and the converters sound better than any others that I've used. It has built in DSP and plugins similar to Universal Audio, albeit not as many. There are some complications using the DSP in a loop with your DAW that I haven't dealt with yet. Some may prefer native plugins for Mac or Windows. As far as sound quality goes it's top notch and that's the most important thing to me. I have several and this is my best. Having two inputs on the front and two in the back is a little funky, but they wouldn't been able to make it this small and easy to carry if they put everything in the back. ... show more

  • Professional grade sound!
I'm not a music producer. I just got this as a sound card for my computer. I connect my studio monitors and headphones to this to listen to music and play video games. The sound quality is stunning! Headphone amplifier is amazing as well! It can power my AKG 702, Sennheiser HD660S, Sony MDR MV1, Shure 1540, Beyerdynamic 1990 Pro to deafening levels with incredible clarity! There are no gimmicks here just incredible professional sound quality. Build quality seems to be amazing as well. Metal/aluminum enclosure and it has a good amount of weight. It doesn't feel cheap. I love the volume knob as well! I love the clicks and accuracy! I highly recommend this interface to anyone looking for a first class professional grade sound card! I also love that it has the ability to hook up a mic/instruments if I ever want to live stream or play instruments! Sound quality is incredible and control knob is amazing! ... show more

  • Great product! BUT don't buy from Amazon or this Seller.
TLDR: Product is great... both the Seller and Amazon did a poor job with customer service and costed me an additional $200 loss in profit by sending me a used product. Amazon doesn't take full responsibility nor the seller! ---Product Review Score--- Product Quality: 5/5 Ease of Use/Usability: 5/5 Software Features/Usability: 4.5/5 Latency/Performance: 5/5 Sound Monitor Clarity: 5/5 Connections: 5/5 PreAmp Quality: 5/5 Audio resolution: 5/5 DB Gain Noise: 5/5 Cost: 4.5/5 (unless I factor losing out $200 as an extra cost, then 3/5) Total: 4.75/5 ---Buying from Amazon/Seller Score--- Amazon Rep: 2/5 Seller: 1/5 Total: 1.5/5 ---Delivery/Support/Initial Impression Details--- Amazon Rep #1: So I bought this brand new... and timed it perfectly with enough time to get it while working on the project. Well, it came early as expected, but it was a RETURN IN PROGRESS item, meaning it was in transit to return back to Amazon or seller, with the return slip still in the box. Well, it re-routed and arrived to my house instead. I reached out right away to Amazon. The rep told me that I will not have to worry about a thing amd guaranteed to me that I cam reach out to the seller instead to get a replacement. I asked that I need it by Friday (it was Monday) and that a replacement needs to be sent today. But the Amazon Rep promised me that I won't have to worry, the seller will send me a new replacement and that I don't have to return the used product. I provided the return label that was with the item to the rep. I figured I can use this used product while I wait for the new product I purchased and will reachout to the seller... Seller: I reached out to seller and provided the same thing to the seller, that I need a replacement asap and provided the label too. All the seller basically said was "our products are new when we ship it" and that's it. No regard with sending me a replacement, no regard with that I'll be taken cared of, just that they will investigate. Registration: So I plugged in the product and I couldn't use it, because you NEED TO REGISTER the device before I can use it. I researched and it says if the device is already registered by prior owner, you CANNOT use it or re-register by contacting their customer support to deregister the product... Well, that's not good... I decided to respond back to seller, maybe that they just didn't read my request properly. Well, THEY NEVER RESPONDED! Amazon rep #2: I reached back out on Wednesday that the seller isn't responding and not sending a replacement. Amazon rep 2 said sorry and that they can send me a replacement and I'd have to resend the first one back. I was agitated... and then there was "technical difficulties" and we got disconnected... now I had to wait for another rep... MY LUCK! 5 mins or so passed by, and finally I got a new rep. I had to explain everything over (even after they reread my chat). Same thing... then there was another amazon technical difficulty... wth?! they disconnected... and I got really upset at this point. Got anlther rep after 5mins... I told them at this point how angry and upset this is taking longer than I needed and I had a deadline, had the first rep just sent a replacement but didnt. This rep said he can only do a replacement and to send back the used the product. I was already mad and said I need it to be expedited. They transferred me to a lead/supervisor, which had really no sympathy in all the issues I've faced. Just dis a replacement at regular shipping, knowing that I'd lose money on my project at this point. No credit, no sympathy, nothing but just the same response as the normal reps. I had no other choice but to take a loss now. I really felt Amazon customer service has gone downhill by a lot compared to a few years ago. I really considered canceling Amazon by this experience, even though we do business with them with over 10K a year at minimum. This experience is tbd... New product arrival: Finally received my new product a week later and lost approximately $200 in business. ---Device Review--- Plugged in the new device seamlessly, and it registered and I could use it now with no issues. Outputs are great, and very little latency. I'm almost hesitant to return this USB-C version to get the Thunderbolt version, but upon reading more into it, it seems to really not make too much a difference unless you're loading crazy, CRAZY amount of plugins and mix. The ease of use AFTER registration is pretty good, with the exception that you have to get used to their software UI, but that is nothing new. The app is pretty user friendly, and thank goodness for that. I feel like that nowdays sadly you need an intern connection just to register. I wished they provided software though and a way to register other ways instead of online, like calling a phone number. Has many plugins, easy configuration, and low latency. The sound is clear and way better than I expected on my studio monitors. Built-in FX! No midi though! Pairs great with my Grace Design M101! HUGE upgrade compared to my Focusrite 4i4 (Gen 4). Has beautiful interface (see image). ---Conclusion--- Great device! Just loss of star because you HAVE to register device before being able to fully use it. If you have a budget under $1000, it's worth it. I went through 3 Audio Interfaces and always felt like I was missing something. This solved everything other than midi (which I no longer need). But... BE WARNED that if you buy from Amazon, through this seller, you better have more than enough patience (which I did) or else you'd just be left with bitterness. Take your business for this product and buy directly from Antelope instead. Though I enjoy the "hassle-free return" experience, sometimes like this, it's a nightmare, especially for big purchases like this! Amazon doesn't take full responsibility nor the seller (even though Amazon says it was shipped by them and they take full responsibility, though didnt do anything to show me they cared about me, the customer! ) P.S. I feel bad to whoever bought this product and returned it (see return slip yo see if this was yours). Hopefully you get your money back since likely Amazon did not receive your product (and I did not return your label because it would cause confusion with my return label!) ... show more

  • Excellent, sounding easy to use recording interface!
I own three antelope products the discrete eight synergy core the synergy core Mike and this Quadro, which I think is an unbelievable deal for everything it does. Great for traveling podcasting and so far I think it sounds great. I'm still working on my recordings. I think this is the best deal in audio similar to the Apollo line., You can use the effects in the unit on the way in saves a lot on your computer processor just go buy it.! ... show more

  • Great interface. Tricky setup
This interface is ridiculously powerful and sounds great. Tons of routing options and clean audio processing. I'm very impressed with how much it does for such a small package. However, there's a bunch of stuff you have to do and set up in order to get it to work. Much moreso that other interfaces I've used in the past . Not insurmountable, just a surprising amount. ... show more

I love this device so much. It’s really quiet studio and high-quality on the price is very very good with that. It’s more better than any expensive device in the world.
