Getting this table was an interesting journey. First thing you need to know is the table top, legs, and chairs will most likely show up on different days. I had no idea this could be the case so when the table top showed up but there were no legs, I contacted the seller immediately. They responded very quickly and were ready to make it right by shipping out new legs. Two days later, the legs were delivered and thankfully I was able to contact the seller again prior to new legs being sent out. I still had not received the chairs though so I inquired about them. They did tell me that they may arrive as a separate delivery but because of the delay, they wanted to send me two additional chairs at no cost. I received all the chairs (6 that came as part of the set and 2 extra that they added) about 4 days or so later. They were all beautiful, had no damage from shipping, easy to assemble, and are very comfy. Now for the table top…the first one I received had broken cables underneath, the ones that help with the opening/closing to extend the table. I was disappointed because I was so excited about the table and how beautiful it was but the seller immediately shipped out a new top and said I did not need to return the damaged one. I received the new top approximately 4-5 days later. It was not damaged at all thankfully. It was very easy to put the legs on the table top. It is VERY heavy though so most will need help to get it inside, turn it right side up after attaching the legs, and/or moving it into place. It is very easy to open and utilize the leaf. I would highly recommend opening all boxes outside before bringing anything inside if possible…there is a lot of styrofoam and it gets everywhere. I would buy this table/chair set a million times over or any other product from this seller just based on their quick responses and wanting to make everything right. This is a beautiful, heavy, quality set and I don’t know how anyone could possibly regret buying it. ... show more

This is the most expensive item I’ve purchased from an Amazon and it is well worth it ! The table looks even better in person and the chairs are soft and beautiful . It is very easy to assemble . Took less than 30 mins for the table assembly

Wow! This is a heavy duty table. We used a dolly to get it inside. It took two of us to get it upright. Both the table and the chairs were easy to assemble. Fits in our dining room beautifully and compliments our mid century modern home. The seller sent two broken tables. And tried charging me restocking fees after telling me to discard the tables. Total scam do not buy. Amazon customer service is also zero help taking over 20 business days to provide zero help still. Avoid at all costs.

This is a solid table that I like a lot. Heavy as the Dickens. I just tried the leaf for the first time and it doesn't work right. It's crooked. I'm heartsick because it was so hard to move into the house then hard to move to put the legs on. I'd like there to be a way to fix this so I don't have to try to return it. It's unusable as a longer table without being able to use the extension. Update: Ok. I cowboy'd it in so now I'm happy. I'm a 71-year-old grandma so I deserve kudos for getting this to work. It had to do with the rods underneath not being in the slots correctly. I do like the table and will probably never be brave enough to close that leaf up again but this works. ... show more
