This bike is the best thing I have ordered on Amazon. It is easy to assemble, very well made, easy to adjust, and super cool. My son is 2 and got the hang of it within a few rides. Now he is cruising.. mom and dad can't keep up with him. The double back wheel helps with balance until they are ready to go to the single wheel. Everyone is shocked to see my 2 year old balancing and doing so well on a bike. But a few times the bike has fallen over with my son just sitting on it, and it is too heavy for him to lift it off himself. I had one of these bikes for over ten years. Lasted for all five of my children, but unfortunately I ran it over with my car (I know). I ordered a new one which took over seven days to arrive. It finally arrived but was missing all the hardware required for assembly. I contacted the company and they said they do not have pieces to ship me and I should just return it and order a new one. I have twins and we were given a handy down of this bike. My oldest and twins used it. We bought a second, newer style balance bike from them. Both are amazing and my boys are pros at their bikes. I bought this 7 months ago for Christmas for my son who was about to turn 3. He’s not a big kid, he’s average height and weight and right away he needed the highest seat and handle notch. It’s very well made and I love the extra support wheel. He zooms through the house and learned to balance well. However, it’s now been only 7 months and he’s almost 3.5 and is already way too tall for this bike. His legs bend so much it doesn’t look comfortable, so he already needs a new bike. I’d say this bike is best for ages 18 months to 2 years, but if your child is closer to 3, I’d go up a size. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Bought this little blue Velo bike for my boy when he was 1.5 years old. This boy LIVES at the skate park. Almost daily use (minus 4 months of winter each year) and he will be turning 4 in 2 months. We've gotten 2+ good years out of it. Never had any problems with it. It's lightweight and easy to carry and it was very easy to put together. The tire treads are almost no more but it's still going strong. This little bike has taught him balance and confidence. If ur looking for a perfect bike to help train ur little one to balance this is the bike. Easy to put together and son loves it . The double tire in the back is perfect for just starting out and can be removed for a single once they get more advanced.
