  • Honey Snob
I grew up hating the taste of honey, and this made me change my mind. Love that it’s raw, and organic. I have an autoimmune disease, and when I’m paleo for an extended time… I can actually tolerate this honey without a flare!

  • Honey does not get sugary
I always buy this type of honey for my hot tea. Lasts for a long time without getting sugary like regular honey does.

  • This IS processed compared to real raw honey
7-12-15 UPDATE: I can now say I've officially seen and tasted truly raw, unprocessed honey (there was a bee's leg in it for pete's sake -- I then had to filter it slightly at home because I'm not ready for that kind of "raw"). Now comparing my local truly raw honey to the Y.S. Organic one -- Y.S. is absolutely processed... it did taste better than store bought corn syrup/honey, but something about it seems fake and waxy. When placed side by side next to my real honey, the real honey will become slightly runny at room temperature. The Y.S. "raw" honey does not liquefy as easily. In fact, I've never seen it liquefy even slightly without having to heat it and heating raw honey takes away from the healthy properties. I've added two pics, one showing how the Y.S. stays hard next to the obviously softer true honey; one pic shows the propolis and bits I had to scrape off the top of my pure stuff vs. the very clean Y.S. Hope this helps some of you -- try to get the real stuff locally! Tastes like honey, better than store bought. But then again, I've never had honey straight from the hive, so for all I know I could have been eating colored corn syrup all my life and have only that to compare to. Here's what is annoying me: why does this company have a USDA organic honey and also another one with a misleading label -- basically stating the other one is also RAW, PURE, UNFILTERED, etc... as good as organic? And why can't they state from where the honey is harvested? "THE LAST FRONTIER WILDERNESS" sounds really shady, IMO. I ended up buying this because I can't find any reviews on the web saying this is a scam -- although, why aren't they listed with the BBB? Overall, others seem happy. I'm sick with a sore throat and have terrible asthma so was hoping this might help, since I can't seem to easily acquire honey from local hives. Certainly better than going to a store. And also, I'm not seeing the company addressing anyone's concerns. I'm not going to spend any more time on vetting the company, so I will have to just give an okay star rating. With more transparency about where each kind of honey comes from, my rating would go up. BTW, people who say the USDA seal means anything -- in the case of honey, it doesn't really. • Raw Honey That's The Bee's Knees
I have never consumed a lot of honey in my lifetime, and I'm 53 years old. Over the last few years, Im moving away from refined sugars. I'm using Pure Via at the moment, and while its the closest taste to the real thing, it still has an after taste. I decided to really go natural, and after reading all the positive reviews from hundreds of reviewers, I took a chance and ordered the 2 pound jar ( I'm an all or nothing kind of man) I have tasted processed honey, and the taste was good. When I used to think of raw honey, I imagined unfiltered honey with bee parts in it. Thats the only thing that kept me from trying it "in the raw". I put on my big boy britches, and when my honey arrived ( very well packaged) I tasted only the top layer which was a light white layer of what I assume was separation due to the cooler temperatures. Absolutely delicious. I wanted to eat it straight from the jar. The taste of this honey was robust. It wasn't overpowering. It was rich in taste and texture. Raw honey is incredibly satisfying. Processed honey is okay. This raw honey is spectacular. Im using this to sweeten my hot and cold tea. You wont have any regrets with this purchase. It's worth every penny. No more refined sugars for me. ... show more
