My 90-something year old mom wanted a new wool blanket and she keeps getting he sheets all langled b/c she doesn't see well and it's worse the middle of the night. We got this blanket to replace the old ripped comforter and the sheet so she uses it as a duvet only. So far it's wonderful. It says lightweight and it is summer right now but it can get breezy in the night with the AC going off and on. My wife was concerned about warmth as she loved the heaviness of the old comforter. This comforter is light weight, but it doesn't detract from its warmth. shell feels stiff and flat, blanket is surprisingly thin (I ordered the all season medium fill). It is so thin that it provides no warmth at all, makes me wonder if they accidentally shipped me a light fill summer blanket. it is the middle of the summer and i am getting cold during the night and having to double up the duvet... will probably have to buy an additional blanket come winter. ... show more
