My mom loves this blanket - it made her day. And nights.

My 90-something year old mom wanted a new wool blanket and she keeps getting he sheets all langled b/c she doesn't see well and it's worse the middle of the night. We got this blanket to replace the old ripped comforter and the sheet so she uses it as a duvet only. So far it's wonderful. It says ligh
tweight and it is summer right now but it can get breezy in the night with the AC going off and on. I don't know if it will be enough in the winter but that's for another day.

looks alot fluffier in the pictures

It's not particularly breathable, but it's very warm, which is what I needed now that I'm learning to live in a place where it truly gets cold. The filling is perfectly evenly spread inside, making the overall effect of
a very flat and smooth comforter. It's hard to explain, but unlike synthetic or down filled comforters, the padding inside doesn't bunch up or have any variance of fullness anywhere. Perfect blanket even for those of us who are super particular

True Egyptian Cotton cover, light weight; think a bit thicker than a standard quilt Fresh feeling and it has an extremely faint smell. A wonderful reminder of simpler times. As for the wool, yes real wool, husband grew up on a farm and I have really bad allergies and this is the best of both worlds.
I love warm or as my husband call it: lava and he loves blizzards and black frost. This "duvet" was so freakin perfect! P.s found the req. on reddit for "BIFL". Can't get more honest reviews than that. Also to the seller: What the "h"? No twin sizes? Singles can't get these? Please, I'm cheap and would love to purchase 2 twins for a cheaper price and sew them together for a larger size. Seriously though, please consider twin sizes. Thanks.

I bought three different blankets before I found these wool filled blankets. I bought the summer weight first. I couldn't believe a summer wool blanket could be so cool. I used it until late fall. Then I bought the heavier weight blanket for winter. They are perfect for variable Michigan weather.
